🪽✧˖°. Platonisexual, aka Platonerotic: Experiencing sexual attraction as an "extension" of platonic love (not necessarily exclusively).
I used a yellow rose, as yellow roses symbolize friendship! 💛
the color meanings are: yellow = friendship orange = platonic love + passion pinky red = sexual attraction + desire dark pink = eroticism
term coined by @awsteb, flag by me! 💛
flag id: a flag with 5 stripes. in order, they are light orange, dark faded sky blue, dark dull blue, light grey, and black. end id.
banner id: a 1600x200 teal banner with the words ‘please read my dni before interacting. those on my / dni may still use my terms, so do not recoin them.’ in large white text in the center. the text takes up two lines, split at the slash. end id.
platonirose/platrose: an orientation in which romantic and sexual attraction are experienced the same as or indistinguishable from platonic attraction; being both platoniromantic and platonisexual
[pt: platonirose/platrose: an orientation in which romantic and sexual attraction are experienced the same as or indistinguishable from platonic attraction; being both platoniromantic and platonisexual. end pt]
for anon! the flag is based on the original platoni- flag, which seems to have been specifically intended as a platoniromantic flag, and my platonisexual flag.

I read a "what it's like to be nebularomantic" thing and that totally describes my experience with sexual attraction. Is there a nebulasexual or a term that means that but for sexual attraction?
Even though nebularomantic was coined as that, various orientations were coined as something or other and then later became used for other kinds of orientations. So I’d say you totally can use nebulasexual.
If you feel uncomfortable with that, though, you can also use something like platonisexual or neuroplatsexual:
Plat- / Platoni-: “An orientation where a type of attraction is experienced as the same as or indistinguishable from platonic attraction.”
Neuro-: “Umbrella term for orientations that are exclusive to neurodivergent individuals. May also be used to refer to any orientation which is affected by the owner's neurodivergency, ie. a neuroabrosexual person would feel that they are abrosexual because of their neurodivergence.”
~ Tath
Aspec ABC’s P is for...
Platoniromantic / Platonisexual: An orientation where the person feels or experiences no difference between platonic and romantic/sexual attraction.
Propeestromantic / Propeestsexual: A label for aro/ace spec people who feel a mix of multiple a-spec (and non-aspec) identities make up their orientation.
+
Platonic Attraction: The desire to be someone’s friend and get to know them.
Plush: A variation on the word crush that is based on Queerplatonic attraction.

a platonisexual flag, since one didn't exist previously! while the flag in this post is being used as a general platoni- flag, the color meanings indicate that it was created specifically as a platoniromantic flag. i decided to keep the grey and black, since both the aro and ace flags contain those colors, shift the blue a bit closer to purple, and shift the orange closer to red.

Aces and aros who have trouble figuring out what kind of attraction they experience or what the different kinds of attraction even are or who just don’t notice any difference are amazing!
Shout outs for:
Arovague & Acevague
Idemromantic & Idemsexual
Nebularomantic & Nebulasexual
Platoniromantic & Platonisexual
Quoiromantic & Quoisexual
Wtfromantic & Wtfsexual
You’re all worthy of your labels! It’s hard enough to label things and you’ve found a word that works for you!
You can use platonisexual and platoniromantic, or just use quoisexual quoiromantic because quoi- is umbrella/broader for them. One of the definition of quoi-/wtf-/what- is:
Hard time distinguishing sexual/romantic attraction from other types of attractions, or can't distinguish them at all (ex cant distinguish romantic from platonic, or has a hard time distinguishing romantic from sensual feelings).
And Platoni-: attraction where an individual feels no distinction between romantic/sexual/alterous (a form of attraction) and platonic attraction.
I think there could be a romo- term, not distinguishing romantic and another form of attraction, for romosexuals, romoplatonics, romoalterous, etc.
