Figured I should post this. Seeing as it's been a few days since I posted it on Instagram. Here's a drawing of Farron as the king of hearts because I decided that I might make a playing card series. We'll see if it doesn't fall through, though.

The twentieth card of the Tarot is associated with Pluto. It suggests a significant, life altering opportunity, which could come as a crisis of some kind. It’s a turning point. It’s a call to the next chapter, maybe what feels like a new awareness at soul level. It may involve the resurrection of previous elements of your life, coming back around in a different form. This is the energy of rebirth. It’s likely to highlight relationships, be they family, children or love-oriented. The archangel Gabriel is often depicted in this card. This angel is associated with communication, writing, music and the power of sound. It could be music or audio frequency therapy. It’s linked with psychology, hypnosis, and ways of working with the subconscious. The twentieth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Resh, can mean lead or beginning.

Purslane is a symbol for sustenance. It’s linked to the moon (cool + moist/breasts, stomach, female reproductive organs). It’s a succulent, high in water content, and said to be very tasty! It’s high in omega 3 fatty acids and contains calcium, potassium and vitamins A and C. It’s been used as a blood purifier, and is thought to help regulate blood sugar, treat dysentery and urinary tract infections.

James Patrick Page (born January 9, 1944) is an English musician, songwriter, and record producer who achieved international success as the guitarist and founder of the rock band Led Zeppelin. Page’s interest in the occult started as a schoolboy at the age of fifteen, when he read English occultist’s Aleister Crowley’s Magick in Theory and Practice. He later said that following this discovery, he thought: “Yes, that’s it. My thing: I’ve found it.” Page’s own so-called “Zoso” symbol has been identified as a sigil consisting of zodiac signs. During tours and performances, Page often had his “Zoso” symbol embroidered on his clothes, along with zodiac symbols, which included the signs for Capricorn, Scorpio and Cancer- Page’s Sun, Ascendant and Moon signs, respectively. In the early 1970s Page owned an occult bookshop and publishing house, The Equinox Booksellers and Publishers, at 4 Holland Street in Kensington, London, named after Crowley’s biannual magazine, The Equinox.

#Repost @obanjones ・・・ Walter Kennedy’s Pirate Flag (on playing cards) Pirate Walter Kennedy first sailed in 1718 with Captain Howell Davis on "The Rover". When Davis was killed in June 1719, Kennedy was given second-in-command by Bartholomew Roberts who had been elected to replace Davis. While Roberts was on "The Fortune", the first sloop they captured after Davis's death, Kennedy sailed off on The Rover heading for Ireland. Unlike Roberts, Kennedy wasn't much of a navigator and ended up wrecking the ship on the coast of Scotland. Though the majority of the crew was captured and hanged, Kennedy managed to escape to Dublin and eventually to England where he set up a house of prostitution, supplementing his income by way of burglery. One of his prostitutes turned him in to authorities for robbery. He was recognized in prison and hanged in London for piracy in 1721. The Bride of Corinth (Die Braut von Korinth) is a poem by the German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, written in 1797. Goethe set the poem in the city of Corinth.There lives a young woman named Filinion, although in reality she is a curious vampire ghost who absorbs the life energy of her victims. With this poem, Goethe fixed the concepts of the gothic horror novel and devised a new way of using ghosts and supernatural beings, which unlike the ghosts until that time read (Hamlet, for example) could be something more than ghosts claiming revenge, making them evil and capable of causing harm to the living. As a curious fact, Goethe based his poem on the Greek myth of Empusa, a particularly horrifying race of vampires.
