We have had a few sysmates who fall under the label "persecutor" and the word never quite sat right with us. So we decided to come up with a different term. A prefix that can be placed before any other label your headmate fancies if they would like to recognize that they are still learning and growing and may make mistakes along that journey.
A prefix to be used by sysmates who dislike the persecutor label, but would like to recognize that they are trying to build healthier strategies for their goals, and that they may make mistakes on that journey.
May be applied to a role word like Protector, Caretaker, etc, or applied to the words headmate, sysmate, alter, etc.
"I have a lot of trouble knowing when to protect my system and how. I am a mis-protector, and I'm doing my best"
"I am a little overbearing in my control over my system mates, but I'd like to do better, I am a mis-gatekeeper"
"Our mis-headmate is doing so good lately, we're really proud of them"
"I'm a bit misadaptive in my approaches to my role as host"
"My headmate isn't a persecutor, they prefer maladaptive"
