Intersex userboxes (Full pack) because I uhhh might have found something out about myself!!
Lanolin the Sheep from the Sonic the Hedgehog comics is intersex-coded, and her variations are Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (PAIS) and Persistent Müllerian Duct Syndrome (PMDS)! She's an ewe with horns, and is not based on any particular breed where this can occur.
Fallow and her outfits
Hi, I'm making an intersex OC and I wanted to know if it seems ok so far because I don't wanna accidentally be intersexist.
His variation is Persistent Müllerian Duct Syndrome(I may be wrong about what it's called, he has a penis and testicles but also a uterus and half-formed fallopian tubes.)(Correct me if I got it wrong.)
He's gender apathetic/apagender and he uses mainly he/him and he's neutral about other pronouns.
In the story I really only have him mention he's intersex like 2-3 times, I think. I'm not sure if it'd be intersexist to make it a big part of his character, it wouldn't be his whole entire personality or anything. But just something big about him. If I need to change that lmk
Now basically he's one of those "crazy scientist" characters who wants to take over the world, except he's more like morally grey with it ig? He wants to take over because all the governments keep failing the people and he wants to protect everyone. Something he especially hates is the lack of laws protecting intersex people, and the lack of acknowledgement for intersex people in general.
Now, this part I'm wondering if it's a realistic and/or accurate depiction of intersexism. His family discovered he was intersex when he started puberty and the doctors tried forcing surgery on him to "fix" him. The only reason it didn't happen was because his parents fought tooth and nail to keep them from doing it. They sued the doctors and technically won since they got the money and stuff but the doctors didn't get fired and continued that practice on other intersex kids. He's obviously pissed about that because the doctors literally tried basically mutilating him and got no punishment. This was one of his many experiences that led to his "take over the world" thing.
Apart from the intersexism he also experienced ableism because he's undiagnosed autistic(I'm autistic myself so I'm confident in my ability to write that), and he's witnessed a lot of other stuff like classism, anti-homelessness, and queerphobia that led him to the conclusion that in order for the world to be safe he had to take over because clearly the people in power don't know what they're doing.
But that's all, if anything seems intersexist about his lore and stuff please lmk.
Gonna be honest, your character sounds badass, I fw him heavily. As far as his backstory and experience with intersexism, it's pretty accurate as far as I can tell, but you have to be careful as far as the suing goes- "corrective" surgeries like that aren't illegal in a lot of places, so be mindful of the time and the place your story is set in. They may not be able to successfully sue the doctor, but other than that this is peak 👍🏾
Superman from Superman is an intersex fagdyke who's a lesboy and a turigirl! He has PCOS, PMDS, clitoromegaly, a partially fused labia, and hirsutism!

Update: Answer was given in comments, we added it to our intersex guide in the most recent update!
Genuinely upset that there's no counterpart term for PMDS (persistent mullerian duct syndrome). It feels like there's an entire branch of intersexuality that is being ignored.
We've seen people who are mulleripathian-passing, yet are born with some or all of the wolffian reproductive system (ie; internally has seminal vesicles attached to their uterus), but there's...no official diagnostic term for this? At least not one that we can find.
Equally, there's no counterpart term for MRKH syndrome. We've seen people who have an undeveloped or small wolffian system (ie; a person with prostate hypoplasia, seminal vesicle hypoplasia, & unilateral vas deferens agenesis), but there doesn't seem to be a catch-all term for this.
We found the term wolffian agenesis but this doesn't seem to have much information at all, and seems to refer specifically to the seminal vesicles and vas deferens, not including the prostate.
Do terms for these genuinely just not exist?
