Black Thalia
Hey, does anyone other than @redhoodzuko hc Thals as black? I’ve always pictured her with an ash black complexion and an Afro, before she got a side shave after joining the hunters, but 99% of the fanart of her I see and the people I chat with see her as white. Her race(I’ve checked all her descriptions) is never mentioned, at least when she’s first introduced in the first few books, so it’s perfectly reasonable.
edit: coming back to this in 2026… we won black Thalia truthers… we won.
Realized today that they’re probably not releasing the full cast list because it’s diverse. Like I bet it’s not a mostly white cast and that’s why they haven’t announced it yet. It just makes the most sense.
but like what about calypso or Hyla with dreads???
