Spring is like a full moist luscious kiss
Lovingly planted upon my lips
That turns the colour of my pale skin
Into a radiant peachy pink
Spring is like being finally able to smell
The rich smooth delicious fragrance
Of a freshly brewed coffee
After a week of nursing a stuffy nose
Finally I can savour it's taste with glee
Spring is like suddenly finding
A decade old photo of mine
From behind the shelf tangled in dirty cobwebs
as I clean the dust settled upon it
I can see my innocent toothy grin again
And the rest of the day is spent in a blissful reverie
As I reminisce those days of frolic and silly pranks
For which I'm too grown up now i guess
Spring is like waking up to my favorite voice
Kissing my ears as I rub my sleepy eyes
Making me smile without any reason at all
Spring is like a bundle of joy
That suffuses my heart and mind
When i savour the moments
That i overlook otherwise
