I compiled ALL mandatory trainers in Legends ZA in a single spreadsheet
Feel free to use it as documentation for anything you need. I'd like to eventually document more information about the game, maybe even including non-mandatory trainers, but this game is huge so a task like that would definitely ask a lot from my free time.
If you see any information missing or incorrect, feel free to let me know and send me a source with what I'm missing, and you can also do the same if you find something you think could also me compiled on a single spreadsheet.
A few notes:
- Some moves are written with a "?" if they are an assumed part of the moveset that I haven't been able to confirm.
- I would like to eventually compile a full list of all available wild encounters in the game, including indexing them per location. But that's a long-term goal.
- There's a big lack of information regarding the first 20 Infinite ZA Royale matches. I will compile them on a separate page once I properly find them.
Includes all trees both in the Wild Area and on routes with their respective drop tables. I got several requests to make a map like this so despite some reluctance I got it done. :’> I hope you find it helpful!
ps. The tree on route 3 has two Persims...? Someone let me know if you get a fourth berry from there and I’ll update the box.
Moves: Apple Acid is Appletun’s signature move. It’s an 80 base power grass move that lowers the opponents' special defense, making it Appletun’s best option for a grass stab. Dragon Pulse is Appletun’s best dragon stab option since he will want to be sitting for a while on the field. If you want the extra power, Draco Meteor is fine too. Leech Seed helps chip away at the opponent’s team and provides some passive recovery. Recover provides the neede longevity to let Appletun last throughout the games and check the Pokemon it needs to.
Spread: Max defense EVs with a Bold nature helps Appletun take advantage of its defensive capabilities. Maximum EVs in HP helps Appletun take hits on both sides of the offensive spectrum. Leftovers provide some needed passive recovery, and Thick Fat halves the damage dealt by Fire and Ice attacks.
Team Support/Usage: Appletun is a solid wall, capable of taking in a wide variety of threats in the early stages of this metagame. As such, it fits best on bulkier teams like balance builds who appreciate the walling capabilities that Appletun provides. As far as teammates go, I could see both Clefable and Jellicent working well together with Appletun, covering each other's weaknesses fairly well. Corviknight could also be decent to take on the fairy types. Lastly, hazard support both on the sides of control and set-up is greatly appreciated, as Appletun will be forcing a lot of switches, but will also be threatened by Stealth Rocks and Spikes whenever it comes in.
It's been a really slow week for Pokemon news, but I did get these delivered today. The Perfect Guide (collector's edition) generally runs for around $80-110, but the one I found, while having a bit of damage, was under $40. It also still has the poster ❤
I also got Wooloo. Corviknight will probably be next.
