When everything gets too stressful for Mushitaro, he always listens to Elvis Presley songs over headphones to fall asleep (same)

The whole theatere course in which Nikolai is in plans to stay together even after college to perform little plays

They are really good tho so they probably could make money with thier plays

It already happened a few times that Dazai just couldn't put up with the academic stress and expectations aswell as with all his trauma and suicidal thoughts but didn't wanted to "stress Chuuya even more" so he just went to Oda and Ango to thier office and let himself breakdown there while his father figures comforted him

Oda is the very chill easy going professor of the college which nearly everyone loves

Bram is known as the campus vampire bc he's not only pale af but he also sleeps during the day and in lectures, gets productive at night, always dresses like it's the 1800s, mainly wears black and white colored clothes, and comes from a rich family.

Bram's best friend is Aya who goes to the primary school a few streets away from the campus.

They met in a café where Aya walked up to him and kept asking him if he's really a vampire.

After he found out about her abusive father he basically adopted her

He's mostly either annyoed or tired and he always listens to the radio over his tiny pocket radio

Fyodor is a psychology major who minors in something like religion or music.

Fyodor pretty much never sleeps and tends to overwork himself. Nikolai has to wrestle him to bed at like 3am. (Which isn't hard for him/considering how fragile Fyodor is and how tall and trained Nikolai is)

Fyodor admirers Sigma's personality and his innocence since it's something he lost while living on the streets as a teen.

Thanks to his family Fyodor has religious trauma and after some religion lectures his boyfriends have to beat some sense into that so smart but so stupid brain of his. Especially when he starts thinking again that him being gay will bring him to hell.

Fyodor tells everyone who dared to start small talk with him that he only listens to classical music and then proceeds to blast russian rock in his and his boyfriends' dorm.

Sometimes Fyodor has depressive days where he won't even leave the bed. Then Nikolai, Sigma and Shibusawa will stay with him all day, trying to cheer him up, comfort him and help him

On these days even Dazai comes over to thier dorm to check on his oldest friend. He obviously isn't worried or smth or feels bad for him since he knows how such days are. He is and he does

Bram dragged Lovecraft and Steinbeck with him to see the " The Dance of the Vampire"/"The Fearless Vampire Killers" musical at least 4 times already

Poe, Lucy, Louisa, Magret, Nathaniel, Lovecraft, Steinbeck and Mark are all students from america who study overseas and all went to the same high school together so they know each other pretty well

Study sessions with them are pure chaos

Louisa and Poe are some kind of friends and bond over the fact that they are both often too scared to do some normal things which require social interaction

Whenever Bram's legs start to hurt too much, Lovecraft will do anything he can to help boyfriend his dear friend to feel better (As mentioned in my previous posts, Bram can in fact get up and walk around for a bit again but he can't walk for a long time. He can obviously feel his legs and isn't paralyzed but he struggles with pain from the permanent injuries now too)

Poe despairing over Mark's grammar and pronunciations in his writing assignments for thier literature course which he had to proof read on a daily base

Mark is a good writer tho

Ranpo usually wears glasses bc he can't see shit without them

Nikolai loves to burn CDs for his boyfriends

He either burns thier favorite songs or he makes playlists for them in which he puts a lot of work and effort

For some reason, Shibusawa listens to Orchestral Manoeuvers in the dark on daily base

Ranpo often comes to lectures or goes out in general while wearing sweatshirts or vests which he stole from Poe or Mushitaro. They are very oversized but he doesn't actually mind. He likes oversized clothes.

Chuuya always sends cute videos of the animals from the animal shelter where he works and of which he takes care of to Dazai

He also does this often if he has to go to work but knows Dazai is feeling not that well to cheer him up

It nearly always works

Nikolai and Shibusawa both share a deep hate towards Ivan and Ivan hates them both too so Nikolai and Shibusawa made it thier mission to roast him whenever they can while he dramatically talks shit about them or insults them

Louisa and Lucy, the poly doa and Atsushi and Akutagawa have a bunch of fairy lights hanging around in thier dorms which they turn on every evening. Especially in the cold months

Ranpo, Mushitaro and Poe hoard candles and books

Fyodor and Nikolai hate the cold despite being russian and ukrainian.

After living on the streets for years, they don't have many good memories with the cold. They remember very well how they were cowering in the dirty side streets in the winter, shivering, noses, fingers and feet hurting because of how cold they were, both sitting close together and Fyodor putting his own shaggy but warm coat (which was warmer than Nikolai's) around both of them in a desperate attempt of keeping them both warm. Both watching how the people with money and a home buyed warm bread, coffee and hot chocolate from the bakery and Fyodor praying that they would survive this winter. On top of that came that they had to be even more careful than during the rest of the year cause the hard winter made other homeless kids and adults so desperate that they won't hesitate to steal anything. Especially if the kids from which they wanted to steal looked so weak.

Nikolai can also remember clearly how much fear and despair he felt when Fyodor who had always been a sickish person became sick in the winter. He sometimes still dreams about how he held the other one close to him trying to warm him, wrapping him up in Fyodor's own coat and his very own coat, freezing even more due to this but willing to freeze to death if he could save his Fedya like this. Fyodor had lied in his arms, eyes shut, breathing heavily, shivering despite heating up too much, clinging to Nikolai and not loosing up his thight grip on the others shirt. His whole body had been in pain and often he had fever dreams causing him to forbid Nikolai from touching him after a while whenever he was half awake for some time due to his deep fear of crime and punishment activating once again out of fear when he woke up from another fever dream and killing Nikolai. Nikolai would be desperate at first because now he couldn't even hold his Fedya to warm him now but eventually he still held him again when the other was asleep despite all the risks that came with it. Usually he didn't prayed but in this time he prayed a lot and shoplifted a lot medicine even tho Fyodor forbid him to steal a lot after they had met and teamed up to prevent from people noticing it and them getting in trouble.

Eventually Fyodor managed to get healthy again and they both got through that winter and all the others following.

By now, they may love Christmas and how snow looks (Nikolai also enjoys snowball fights and building snowmans) but they hate the cold itself.

Of course thier boyfriends know about this and look after them a lot during the cold months. They always look out that they both are warm and feel good. Sigma often makes them hot chocolate and Shibusawa sews them all very warm fancy clothes which his boyfriends love. Fyodor latches himself into Nikolai and Shibusawa in these months even more since they both have naturally a very high body temperature. Shibusawa is basically a human heather since he is half dragon and radiates a lot warmth.

In the evening where it's even colder they all go together to bed and even Fyodor joins them. Normally he would work for hours until late at night and come to bed very late or early in the morning when the others didn't wrestled him to bed beforehand. They all lie cuddled together then and they keep three to four blankets (two normal and two wool blankets) in thier bed which get all hogged by Fyodor. He struggles even more with the cold than Nikolai since he is already always feeling cold because of his anemia. He and Nikolai also wear thick wool socks to bed then which Shibusawa knitted for them. Fyodor's are purple with small rats while Nikolai's are very colorful and mismatched.

They all cuddle a lot more than usually then too which they all enjoy very much.

BSD kindergarden!AU headcanons pt. 2

Despite Fyodor not being able to understand/speak japanese during his first half year in the kindergarten and despite Shibusawa not being able to understand and speak Russian they surprisingly started to get along very well

Fyodor had always loved how soft the long white hair of the other kid looked and one day he just couldn't resist anymore and started braiding Shibu's hair without saying anything while he was crafting

Shibusawa was starled a bit at first but the other kid was so gentle and pretty skilled with his hands that it actually felt quite relaxing.

The black haired kid also looked so incredibly happy and peaceful while braiding his hair that he didn't wanted to push him away like he planned to do with whoever dared to touch his hair

Since then they started to hang out and try to communicate without words

Nikolai got a bit jealous, drew all over Shibusawa's drawing and then proceeded to hide and pout while trying not to cry

Fyodor found him, sat next to him, talked to him, reassured him that he didn't tried to replace him with Shibusawa and then kissed him on the cheek which made Nikolai so happy that tackle hugged Fyodor causing both of them to fall over and lie cuddling on the floor

Tecchou is this once kid who tries to eat everything. Grass, mud, flowers, wooden building blocks, his shirt, he even chewed on Jouno's hair once causing the latter to slap him

Chuuya is a l w a y s in the sports hall

Dazai doesn't likes sports and to run around like Chuuya does but sometimes he sneaks into the sports hall and watches the redhead

Chuuya sometimes sneaks out of the kindergarten to run to the elementary school a few meters away from the kindergarten to see his friends. They are a bit older than him and call themselves "The flags"

Verlaine, Chuuya's big brother with who he lives and who also raises him together with Arthur Rimbaud, thinks the flags are a bad influence for Chuuya but Arthur convinced his husband to give them a chance. Especially since Chuuya seems so happy with them

Atushi often wants to help the kindergardeners with stuff

Sigma loves to play any kind of card game (easy ones for kids) with others but he hates to play against Ace since he always cheats

He hates Ace in general and was even happier when he saw that Fyodor defeated him in card game once despite him cheating

He was the only one who had ever beaten Ace

It was probably the moment which caused Sigma to feel his cheeks heating up whenever he sees the russian kid from now on

Kunikida always wants to be punctual and wants to be ready to leave when the parents arrive to spare any trouble while Dazai often only wants to sleep despite the kindergarden being over soon and proceeds to curl himself up on the big seating bean bag causing Kunikida to try to drag the other the gadarobes to get himself ready by grabbing and pulling him on the legs

Poe loves to write short stories but only Ranpo is allowed to read them

Lovecraft always carries a gigantic cthulhu plush around with him which he uses as big pillow often

Shibusawa loves dragons a lot and carries a long plush dragon around with him

He always has red apples with him too for some reason

Nikolai once saw Sigma crying and cheered him up with his clown dolls and with his very broken japanese making the other kid giggle and calm down

Since then he blushes too when he sees the white haired kid even if he always teases him or steals his hair clips

Sigma always wears two hair clips to keep his hair out of his face. One on each side of his head. They are golden and shiny. One glitters a bit

Atushi wears often a blue hair clip with a moon

Akutagawa once stole it from him but felt bad when he saw the other boy cry because of it so he apologized more or less unwillingly

Ranpo and Poe often play detective and Yosano is the police doctor

Ratatouille is the favorite movie of the poly doa. You can't change my mind.

They watch it while sitting together on the couch or in thier bed and cuddle. Nikolai makes a lot rat jokes/comparisons with Rémy and the rats and Fyo during it.

Even though Fyodor finds movies generally boring because he can always tell what is going to happen and stuff, he kind of enjoys this movie. Among other things bc of the rats. He loves rats and has a soft spot for them so of course he likes this movie where rats have the main role and aren't portrayed as disgusting creatures who deliver sicknesses. Nikolai just loves Disney movies and general but he finds this one especially touching. Especially because it teaches people that a great artist can come from anywhere and he himself lived on the streets as a kid. Also it reminds him of his Fyodor bc of all the rats. Sigma just loves the whole thing whole heartily and cries at serval scenes.

They have either a plush rat or a 4th rat called Rémy.
