(½) LWJ gets hit with a curse that makes him say whatever he’s thinking with no filter, but everyone thinks it’s a curse of conflict because of the ridiculous things he says: “Brother is being foolish” “Uncle breaks more rules that WWX these days” “You say righteousness but all I hear is hypocrisy” “JGS was a coward siding with WRH during the war yet expects to become Chief Cultivator?” “Jiang Wanyin, shut up and reflect on yourself” "WY does not belong to you, he owes you nothing"

(2/2) But for some reason the curse acts rather strangely to the YP: “WY looks good in those robes, but better without them” “Don’t talk to that guy” “I trust WY” “2 parents are better than 1” “No, WY is not okay” (looking at me like that, do I look handsome today Lan Zhan?) “WY looks beautiful everyday” and as WWX is breaking the curse: “WY, what do I have to do to make you fall in love with me?

This has two of my favorite things- Lan Wangji dragging people and Lan Wangji not being able to help himself from blurting out how much he adores Wei Wuxian.

(½) LWJ drank some wine while he and YP!WWX were sharing a room together, but WWX didn’t see b/c he was taking a bath. When he got out, LWJ couldn’t control himself. WWX was happy at LWJ’s confession as he liked him too, but was nervous at how fast they were going as they moved to the bed. No dinner and a show, haha…? But if this is what LWJ wants, then it’s fine. WWX wakes up giddy in the morning to his new lover, only for LWJ to stare at him in horror before quickly getting dressed and leaving

(2/2) without a word. WWX felt his chest go cold as he wonders what he did wrong. Then in the cave after Nightless City, the Lan enter the cave, LWJ says something he said that night in the inn and WWX freezes and begins crying. LWJ thinks he finally got through to him only for Wei Wuxian to yell at him, “You said that before, and then you threw me away in the morning! I waited and waited for 4 YEARS. I won’t be fooled again!!!” Later, when LWJ picks up A-Yuan, he realizes how old the child is.

Dark!Jiangs Sibs vs Dark!Twin Jades. The only thing holding them back from WWX so far is either distance or sect responsibilities. WWX has been trying to create a way to teleport the entire Burial Mounds somewhere far away, like the Nightless City, but he’s running out of time.

WQ: Whats gotten into you recently?!

WWX: We have to move the Burial Mounds.

WQ: What?

WWX: We Have To Move The Burial Mounds.

Wow I had almost forgotten the dark siblings au. I especially love it if Lan Xichen is just... aggressively wing man-ing and is hella determined to have Wei Wuxian as his brother-in-law. Lan Wangji is beside himself with love and lust and complete obsession. Jiang Cheng is practically frothing at the mouth with rage. Jiang Yanli is calm and steady and will poison the Twin Jades without hesitation if given half a chance.

(Also can you imagine the looks on peoples faces when the entire fucking Burial Mounds are just Gone one day)

Everything is the same, but Wei Wuxian is an android. LWJ wonders if something is wrong with him for falling in love with an android, but WWX just seemed so human—no, more than human. Despite WWX’s “faults”, to LWJ he is perfection. LWJ believes the YP is a malfunction that needs to be repaired… restored. It is only after seeing his interactions with A-Yuan that LWJ realizes WWX is a person, not a machine. And then the next—and last—time he sees WWX in the cave, he’s malfunctioning for real.

Am I reading this wrong or are we throwing advanced robotic technology into ancient China?

A-Yuan loves his Uncle Xichen who’s always so gentle and kind. And then he remembers. The Siege, the Wens, Xian-gege. He also remembers LXC being there. How dare he act so loving now when he led a massacre against LSZ’s family. LXC is devastated when his beloved nephew suddenly turns cold and avoids him, refusing to call him familiarly anymore.

(1/2)WWX would send LWJ anonymous love letters from Yiling, but a Jin girl would always intercept and put her name on them. LWJ was cold at first, but after reading them for courtesy began to grow feelings for the person in the letters and move on from YP!WWX. But there’s something familiar about this wording… LXC confirms through JGY of the woman’s identity and they meet. LWJ feels nothing but is sure it will come in time. They even get engaged, after which the letters stop. LWJ participates in

(2/2) the Siege. He stabs WWX, wanting to lay his first love to rest, when WWX recites a few lines from one of the letters about unrequited love. Letters that no one but LWJ should have read. WWX apologizes before kissing LWJ, saying he was saving his first kiss for LWJ but someone stole it. Then he pushes LWJ away to break the seal, saying he can’t let LWJ kill him because that would be too much. Realization dawns on LWJ as he watches WWX get eaten alive of what happened, and what he had done.

½ WenWX!AU: Wen main branch children are sheltered from the clan’s reality. With WWX’s good nature he was the only one who still didn’t know. WWX gets WRH to finally let him leave the Nightless City to study at CR with WN and WQ. WC stormed back after a day, so everyone is surprised by how personable and charismatic the other Wen prince is. WWX was confused why everyone was so cold, but he quickly wins them over. During the waterborne abyss incident everyone is confused at WWX’s reaction to

2/2 learning that it came from Qishan, swearing to have it dealt with and the perpetrators punished. How dare they call themselves Wens! Seeing WN/WQ’s grimace they realize how WWX was so sheltered that he legitimately didn’t know the Wen sect’s true nature. All this time he thought the Wen were in power because they were the most responsible and just, following Wen Mao’s teachings to a T. While it endeared WWX to them completely, how do they deliver the blow that everything WWX knows is a lie?

When WRH declares WWX his son and that he will be taking him back to Qishan after the discussion conference, WWX denies him to his face. WRH thought he could just appear out of nowhere after 17 years, after the horrors WWX had to live through on the streets and YZY’s abuse in LP? After every tournament he won, only now WRH ‘realizes’? Even if WRH were his father, WWX had two men who deserved the title far more. WRH pardoning this outburst was more proof than any testimony that he was serious.

WWX: I don’t want to leave my home and family just because some powerful sect leader who I’ve never met before is claiming to be my actual birth father!
