i find it so funny that jd vance is trying to invoke just war theory in response to the Pope’s criticism of the Iran war like Leo isn’t a member of the Order of Saint Augustine (in fact he’s the first Augustinian Pope).
i know for a fact the dude just asked chatgpt to give him a catholic justification for war and hasn’t read a single thing Saint Augustine wrote (hell id be amazed if he’s read the bible)

Tonight (07.08.2026), let us unite in prayer for the following intentions, asking for the continued intercession of Saint Joseph and the Blessed Mother. ˗ˏˋ⛪︎ ˎˊ˗
♡ For all priests, and for the intentions of the Holy Father, especially that human life may be respected and protected in every circumstance.
♡ For all young people entering the Catholic faith, especially those discerning their vocation. May God enlighten their paths, deepen their love for Him, and lead them to the fullness of His Holy Church.
♡ For a Christian who shared that she doesn't have many fellow Christians in her life. May the Lord lead her to faithful friends who will encourage her, guide her in the faith, and love and accept her wholeheartedly. May Our Blessed Mother always intercede for her, drawing her ever closer to Jesus and helping her grow each day in love for Him.
♡ For those who are burdened by debt and experiencing mental anguish because of financial hardship. May Our Blessed Mother bring comfort to their minds and hearts. Through the intercession of Saint Hedwig, may they receive the grace to overcome their financial burdens and repay their debts. We especially entrust them to the powerful intercession of Saint Joseph.
♡ For the swift containment of a wildfire, and especially for all firefighters risking their lives to protect others. May their Guardian Angels watch over and protect them, granting them strength, courage, and safety.
♡ For a couple who are expecting their first baby girl in December. May the Lord bless them with a healthy pregnancy, a safe delivery, and an abundance of graces as they prepare to welcome their daughter into the world. Through the loving intercession of Our Blessed Mother, may their family always remain under her mantle of protection and be filled with peace, joy, and faith.
