A PSA for all my athletic wear loving baddies:

So if you’re like me, you might have been seeing these ads on social media for Popfit athletic wear, I think I’ve been seeing them for at least 4 years, and the commercials seem really cool, this last quarter i saw an ad where they compared their leggings to Lululemon, so I decided to finally try them out for myself:

Yall, these leggings are nothing like Lululemon. The fabric feels so cheap and itchy, the cut is super unflattering, and you can feel the elastic in the waistband (and it moves a lot).

Personally the $15 it cost to get a “free” pair isn’t a big deal, my biggest concern is now I have these leggings I don’t want and that I feel bad giving to anyone else. But if you are on a tight budget, I highly recommend not wasting your time on these leggings. They are so uncomfortable I couldn’t wear them at home, I wouldn’t even dream about wearing them to the gym.

Ok y’all in my last post about my Amazon leggings, I mentioned I was trying Pop Fit leggings so here we go: the first pair fit OK, & the pockets are deep AF. They’re a bit see through, and upon opening the package they felt hard & smelled like they’re chemically treated. They were “free” as I paid $15 for shipping. The second pair have the mesh (?) on the front on the legs & the pockets are much tighter, but the leggings in general are tighter even though they’re the same size. Also see through, also hard feeling & not very stretchy. Both a size XL. These were not “free” but discounted as $25 instead of the usual $50. I will NEVER pay $50 for any leggings from Popfit, however I will still wear both of these until they’re worn out. I did pay for them after all. Not the worst pair of leggings but definitely not worth what I spent. These feel cheaper than the cheapest pair of Wal-Mart leggings so I feel like they’re only worth about $5-10, but that’s just my opinion.

So !! I took them for a 45 minute walk with the doggo & started to sweat. I noticed the more I sweat, the more the leggings smelled bad. They also make a harsh noise when you walk, & just by standing and rubbing my legs together I could hear it. I may make a short video so you can hear it. That’s another indicator that you’ve got a cheap pair of leggings / pants or any kind!

I do also want to add that I’ve got quite a nice butt - and most leggings flatter my curves, however these leggings make my ass look pretty bad, & that’s hard to do. I found that to be quite odd as well..... 🍑

So I ordered a “free” pair of yoga pants from this company that advertised on Instagram to give them a chance. I say “free” because they charge $14.99 for shipping and send them the literal cheapest way anyone can ship something. (DHL outpost where they deliver to the post office) I kid you not, these things are unwearable. I had them on for about 2 hours and my sides were raw from the material and I feel like my feet were going numb. Their response had me cracking up!! “Send us more money and we will exchange them!” 😂🤣😂 Not even just pay for the replacement! No, you have to go to the trouble of returning the sand paper yoga pants!!

Just a PSA to not fall for the POPfit thing on Instagram no matter howmuch they talk about pockets!!!
