Here's a little progress pic of my painting for you lovelies!😘🌹 I love this one! It's fun to see the whole scale too! I bet you guys didn't think the painting was this tiny, huh?😋 My tip tonight for #WIPWednesday is: take care of your hands and wrists! Working on something so small tends to be a strain on my wrist because of all the fine details 🖌 If I sense an ache or pain I immediately put on a tensor bandage and do exercises to release pressure otherwise I'll get carpoltunnel 😵 Do stretches before and during. Make sure to rest. They are super important and tools for your art. This #WIPWednesday I'm doing a little painting - putting on this pretty lady's lashes 😍 Rather than using just straight black like real mascara- like most of us do (am I right ladies and you fabulous guys too!) 😙So I always choose a dark color that matches the piece. Black is too stark, vs using a dark color. I feel it blends better with the overall look and gives it more depth. 🎨 So i use a liner brush then I apply thinned out paint with quick flicks of the wrist to get that natural look. Put more pressure at the beginning then pull away lightly 👍Give it a try! ❤️im hoping to finish this beauty before I head to Long Beach this Friday.
