4, 10, and 49 for the DnD asks please!
4. What has been your favorite d&d character you've played? (NPCs count for DMs)
My perfect idiot son Wolflion Fastman is both the first D&D character I ever played and also my favourite. He is a tiefling Circle of the Moon druid who is very dumb, very (ineffectively) flirty and very (stupidly) brave. I love him so much. He had a whole tragic backstory about being ostracized in his druid community for being a tiefling, and he always wore a mask and a big leafy cloak and stuff so his party? Never actually found out that he was a tiefling? But he spent most of his time doing dumb stuff and also healing people with magic band-aids. I think he was friends with a talking horse at one point?
I haven’t played him in a few years and I miss him. I wanna play him again. Perfect son.
10. What is your favorite class to play?
Okay, so the thing about Wolflion is that, technically, he is my ONLY actual D&D character?? I’ve played characters in other ttrpgs and I’ve played a few characters in D&D one-shots, but if we’re talking actual long-running D&D campaigns, I’ve only ever played as Wolflion or I’ve been the DM!!
So… the only D&D class that I’ve played other than one shots or NPCs in my campaigns is druid. And honestly?? I’m not complaining, I love being a druid. All I wanna do is run around shapeshifting into fun animals.
(I do have a clonn monk character that I made a while ago for a campaign that never ended up happening and I do hope I get to play them someday… Monks seem fun!!)
49. Have you ever played an edition other than 5th?
Nope!! I’ve played other ttrpgs (mainly Monster of the Week, and also Edge of the Empire for a bit) but the only edition of D&D that I’ve played is 5th… I’ve been playing 5th for YEARS and there’s still so much I don’t know about it so I don’t have the time or energy to learn about other editions haha…
