I'm sure that your ex-boyfriend was being a jerk. It takes someone pretty special to send a postcard back to a random girl who contacted you, sight unseen. 

Especially this girl.

It's kinda ironic, that you're asking me to show you how the world sings. How to live a bright life. 

My father is not coming back, and I have to learn to live with that, but I don’t know if I can.

I sometimes wonder if I'll ever learn how to live. If I'll ever be more than my ghosts.

I'd recommend the park. The crows can be your friends, if you just know how to talk to them.

little writing update: after chapter one of postcards, there will be a mini chapter in which moose and benny's summer is described. it will probably be the summer somewhere inbetween ninth grade and 12th grade!!! :D

the btvs fandom is so Quiet and yet here i am mapping out yet another multi-chapter fic with involved character arcs and a somehow entirely new take on giles and jenny’s relationship! here’s hoping that my treasured handful of followers enjoy this thing if i ever manage to finish it.
