– Tutorial prep seems to keep me awake even if it is being done in ghostly silence. Plus, it has taken me two months to realise that it is significantly easier to get a seat on the top floor of the Rad Cam if you come when it’s hall dinnertime for students in colleges.

SCONUL coming in 10/10 again, a lovely quiet university library makes such a nice change! I love uni libraries over the summer because they feel so peaceful, and I can see all the other students who are working over the summer too (probably also put themselves through grad school)

I think l've mostly finished writing my literature review/little bit of introduction, so the rest of today will be spent editing and flicking through fiction texts to use in my chapter! l'm meeting with my supervisors in a couple of weeks (before I head to the Global Jane Austen conference, and then on holiday to sunny Spain 😎) so I want to get this section sent by Monday! No doubt there'll be edits, but I can start working on my conference paper and the textual analysis in the meantime!

Found a quiet cafe called Current Cafe near Liverpool Street station to work in before my train journey. Had the most amazing matcha macadamia cookie and almost finished one of my assignments ✅

My partner came to meet me after work for a study date so I got my work friend to make him a special coffee - I’ve never seen someone so excited about a mocha.

back at Dillons - I’ve been camping out here before my morning seminar once a week, because I like to come and sort through all my notes so that I can make the most of the class, but this morning was maybe the most beautiful so far!

I have officially started my last year of law school! I may have a lot going on, but I at least feel confident that I know what I am doing. I'm also enjoying my time outside before it gets cold.
