The day is drawing to a close, and as expected of most days, trouble has yet to rise. The phone felt heavy in Seukhye's hand, a weight that had never belong there in the first place. She hadn't expected a call from her father, and honestly wasn't in the mood for it either. She's tired and now angered after the heated discussion on the phone that made her want to rip someone's heart out, shove it back in and repeat the process a couple of times before calming down. It's always like that when it comes to her father, and despite being used to the treatment, he never fails to make her blood boil.
Distracted by the rage flowing through her veins, she had forgotten about closing the door upon entering her apartment. It took her a minute of calling out her cat's name to come up with the possibility that she could have walked out of the apartment and into the halls. For once, Seukhye was fast on her feet, even stumbling over the pile of shoes she has yet to organize on the way out. Her eyes were able to spot a orange-spotted tail disappear to one of the open doors, and without thinking, Seukhye dashed inside the room, mindless of how it can be mistaken for an act of breaking and entering.
