how I be feeling when ppl use my preferred name:

nah because like it just fills my brain with so much dopamine and I know it’s kinda sad that like we live in a society where being called the name I prefer (the bare minimum) makes me happy but I just try to see the positives with it 🥹

(yeah surprisingly Rey hasn’t been my name for my entire life, I chose it like 3 years ago, funnily enough around the same time I got into SW :3)

I HAVE A QUESTION so I am. transgender

and I have been using my chosen name at school (whoopee!) but I'm thinking about changing it again. now I had a friend who went through like five different names before settling on his current one but he was only out to me and like two other people so it wasn't a big deal for him to change it.

now I am also moving away and won't have to deal with changing my changed name at school (whoopee!)

but☝️my parents know I go by my chosen name and they've gotten used to it even though I'm not out to my siblings yet

so if I change it, my parents will have to get used to another new name which is 😬 yikes

do I keep my current name or switch to the new one?

Hi guys um another like gender update ig but this one's important (under a cut bc it's idk it might be long)

so basically I've come out to my mum as nonbinary, she supports me fully dw but I'm gonna start using mostly they/them pronouns because they feel most right

also I'm changing my name. previously my preferred name was Flynn, which is what all of you know me as but that name is very different from my deadname so to make it easier for my family, school etc my new preferred name is Ellis, as that's very similar to my deadname

don't worry about me being a people pleaser by doing this, I've always really liked the name Ellis for me just as much as Flynn- I've actually liked it for way longer like since I was a little kid
