i forgot to close the porch door last night and i woke up with a boba present on my night stand

my dreams the last few nights have been set in these cluttered, overstuffed environments, every surface packed with objects and artifacts, modern, mundane, ancient and astounding

last night, i finally made my way out. i finally caught the right train home. i finally found my keys

i opened my refrigerator for a drink, and it was overflowing with ice and running water. i was shuttling big armfuls of ice to my front door and throwing them on the sidewalk. after my third trip, i saw that the black vultures, the ones who are always the first to an abandoned kill, they had arrived to feast on my bounty of ice

I hate that I need to know the reason to everything and how it’s all processed. For example I’m with my ex and I’m in love with him but at the same time I know we’ll never work out for many many reasons. Why can’t I just be naive and enjoy the little nothings instead of ruminating and expecting for the obvious to happen. To live in the moment or to live in reason.
