i think i cried actually. i always love your barty SO much

some religious moonwaterkiller au headcanons i want to say but didn’t feel like it had a place:

-after remus leaves the church, he takes up reading romance novels. he gets weirdly into bodice rippers because of all the women who talked about them during confession and he’s so curious

-the first time barty saw remus casually reading his bible he jumped remus’s bones. it took remus several instances of this for him to realize that it’s because he was reading the bible

-barty tries to cut down his cursing for remus until one day remus says fuck and regulus is like YOU’RE CORRUPTING HIM! extremely funny to remus who took both of their virginities

-barty loves halloween. this is remus’s first since his childhood. they dress up as an angel (reg), a devil (barty), and remus is forced into his cassock. he keeps muttering about how blasphemous he feels, but has 0 complaints when they both suck his dick in it

-regulus is much more assertive and dominant now and it drives remus insane

-remus is a huge voyeur and specifically loves to watch barty touch himself

-remus is still involved with the church after he leaves the clergy and now the women view him as available and flirt. it makes regulus very violent and he furiously texts barty every time it happens in front of him

-sirius, despite being filled in on the pg details of their relationship, is still extremely skeptical of remus and his intentions. his boyfriend james however immediately loves how accidentally funny remus is

-barty sometimes marvels at how relaxed remus looks when he sleeps because the first time they were together he saw remus asleep maybe 3 times. barty was almost always the first to fall asleep in the rare times they got to stay over, and the last to wake up. now sometimes their sleep schedules don’t line up as much so he gets to see it

-remus has no intentions to ever tell them how he got his scars and keeps coming up with more ridiculous lies. the reality is just kinda boring (childhood car accident) and barty thinks it’s hilarious

aw thank you, Barty (this Barty in particular) means the world to me. and i wanna add on to your headcanons

- Remus will be reading them on the bus with no shame and he'll recap the plot to Barty who loves how graphic Remus gets

- Regulus hides the bible just so Remus doesn't start reading when Barty in the room

- Barty trying to get Regulus to curse now but Regulus uses the really weird/funny substitution instead

- Barty insists on taking photos of the halloween costumes, and gets a copy for each of them (Barty keeps it in his wallet, Remus in his bible and Regulus has his hanging in the mirror of their room)

- Regulus likes to tease Remus by pretending to be all shy during foreplay only to take control when he least expects it

- Barty loves to put on a show for Remus

- Barty sending messages consisting of 'bite him' & 'take his dick and suck him off' are funny but not helpful

- Sirius did the whole big brother speech for both Regulus and Barty (because of course he would also see Barty as a little brother)

- sometimes Regulus pretends to be asleep just to see how soft Barty is with Remus

- Barty came up with a list of possible reasons and has a bet with Regulus (Regulus never agreed to the bet)

Just wanted to say that DYH is fr one of my fav fics ever as a priest remus advocate,,, i literally dresses up as priest remus for halloween bc of dyh so thank u so much for ur writing 🙂‍↕️
