hey guys!! so, the unbelievably skilled @catundrakatara_art (on instagram) posted this brilliant dark!roman animatic on instagram the other day, but she doesn’t have tumblr, which means i get to make this post for her... and therefore shamelessly BEG y’all to watch it in the process. seriously, i could go on for days about the gorgeous art style and powerful camera angles and intense expressions and brilliant storytelling and flawless audio engineering -- or, better yet, you could just click play and let this masterpiece speak for itself ;)

Summary: Virgil’s hoodie needs washing, and Roman intends to do just that!

     Oh god if Virgil caught Roman, he would be dead. It didn’t help that he didn’t sleep deeply. The slight creak of a floor board and he would up and be out of bed faster than Roman could come up with an excuse. The room was dark, except for the lava lamp Patton had given Virgil last year for Christmas. It sent a soft light purple glow across the floor, lighting the way for Roman. Hoodie in hand Roman slipped out the still open door, before turning around to close it. He cringed at the small click it made when he released the knob. He let out the breath he didn’t realize he’d been holding. Mission accomplished! Well, almost. He still needed to get his boyfriend’s disgusting (seriously when did he last wash it?!) hoodie into the wash. He had had it when Roman met him way back in freshman year. He smiled at the memories. Virgil hadn’t exactly liked him back then and Roman had the same feeling. Ok so they resented each other. But that was ok because now he had this amazing boy was now by his side in college! He padded down the hallway to the laundry room when a chill traveling up his spine stopped him cold. He’d been caught. He groaned. He slowly turned around, trying to conceal the jacket behind his back. “Heyyyyyy Virge!” Virgil’s gaze went straight to his arms. “What ya got there Princey?” He said not bothering to meet Roman’s eyes. “Oh just some, uh, laundry!” “Really? Oh well then I guess it’d be fine if you showed me what you’re washing?” Roman gulped. “How ‘bout you go back to bed, stormcloud.” He sidestepped the question. “Nah, not tired.” Wonderful! At that point Roman knew he was screwed. He spun and made a break for the washer. Virgil was fast though, and tackled him to the ground, sitting on his back, twisting his arm. “Sharing is caring, now give me the hoodie!” “No! That things filthy!” Roman protested. “Now!” His voice had taken on a serious tone. “Or else no kisses for a month!” Now that, that was horrific! “You wouldn’t!” “Oh I would!” “Finnee” Roman whined, “you can have it back.” He handed it over, but not without a kiss first.

spec speaks: aww hello willow anon!! what a sweet surprise – super unexpected, but appreciated all the same. this drabble is so soft, thank you so much for sharing!! (of course getting pinned to the ground with his arm twisted behind him barely even phases roman but the threat of getting his smooching privileges revoked works right away lmao)

would anyone be interested in a christian famders discord server? 

i feel like there’s still so much self-discovery happening every day when it comes to how my faith fits into my sexual identity, and it would honestly be incredibly helpful to have a group of people to walk beside on this journey <3

small psa for the handful of my followers who will see this and/or care: i love, adore, appreciate, admire you all so, so much, and apologize that i have not been as vocal here on tumblr about current events as i have been elsewhere (specifically instagram, but i’ve even been more active on youtube as i have been on tumblr, and that’s incredibly irresponsible of me.)

so here’s the thing -- i'm not going to stop posting. my queue is almost 60 posts long as of the time i am typing this and the last thing i want to do is clear that, because yeah, im a little selfish and therefore unwilling to delete a queue that i’ve been organizing building for literal months. 

but right now there are much, much more important things to talk about than the twice-a-day fanart/fic/wholesome meme content that my queue usually brings you. so from now until who knows when, that is what i’ll be using my platform to speak up about. (it’ll probably be fairly rare for you to see any additions of my own onto those posts, in part because i don’t want to speak over my black friends, but also honestly because i have an extension that restricts me to 30 minutes of desktop social media time a day + it’s hard to write something meaningful in half an hour.)

anyway, if the activism posts ever get to be too much to handle, you are free to unfollow me at any point. i will not shame you, i will not lose respect for you, i will do absolutely nothing to stop you from leaving.

however.

please understand the difference between taking a break and willful ignorance. ask yourself, where does your discomfort stem from? if you are uncomfortable because you are sick of hearing about black lives matter and you would rather ignore everything that’s going on, then i gently encourage you to check your privilege.
