Im rewatching Miraculous Ladybug with a friend. Nothing will piss me off more than them revoking Chloes character development. She DESERVED to be Queen Bee. Give it BACK!!

Did it ever occur to anyone that both Chloé and Zoé don't wanna be lonely?

Let’s look at some examples.

In “Despair Bear,” this is the first time we see Chloe’s insecurities deep down. In the episode, Adrien threatened to end their friendship until she learns to change for the better.

This takes a toll on her for three reasons.

1. We find out that her mother was someone who abandoned her at a young age, something she still is traumatized by.

2. As seen in the flashback, we see that Chloe had a stuffed bear called Mr. Cuddly that was her coping mechanism to help her cope with her mom leaving her.

3. In the same flashback, we see Chloe and Adrien starting up their friendship while Mr. Cuddly is there.

Therefore, Chloe doesn’t want to be lonely because her own mother abandoned her, so she acted clingy to Adrien (and Ladybug) so the empty hole in her heart could be filled.

Meanwhile in “Sole Crusher,” we learn that Zoe had only one friend in NYC as they were the only who wrote on her shoes as a goodbye.

Then as the episode goes by, Zoe is pressured to be like her family: Mean, Narcissistic, and Rude to everyone around her in order to fit in. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work because it’s not something she likes or even wants to be apart of.

The only person who does give her sympathy is Andre, her stepfather.

Furthermore, from what we gathered, even Audrey treated Zoe poorly back when they lived in NYC.

Therefore, I must ask:

Why the hell didn’t neither Chloe or Zoe realize that Audrey was an abusive piece of shit mother and both decided to abandon her, and actually develop a relationship based of their trauma? Hell, both of them could've helped each other healed and moved on from the pain. 

 In addition, as we saw in "Optigami," Chloe still has some disdain towards Audrey. She laughed when Alec insulted her. Implying she hasn't forgiven Audrey for neglecting her. 

So yeah Thomas, WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE THEM DEVELOP BASED ON THE SAME TRAUMA THEY HAD! 

Oh wait, I remember:

"bEcAuSe ChLoE mEaNiE aNd ZoE sWeEt AnGeL!"

Seriously?

SERIOUSLY?!

YOU COULD HAVE EASILY MADE THEM REALIZE THAT BOTH WERE BEING INFLUNCED AND MANIPULATED TO BE LIKE AUDREY JUST FOR THE SAKE OF HER ATTENTION!

This was implied back in Season 2 of “Style Queen” when Chloe attempted multiple times to get Audrey’s attention.

In conclusion, this would not only be a good relationship between both girls, but also a great character arc for both Chloe and Zoe. 

Both could learn to move on and not be like their mother at all.

Both could learn to be their own person. 

Both could have mentor one another: 

Chloe could've taught Zoe to gain confident, learn to say what's on her mind, and not let anyone step on her for wanting her to change.

Zoe could've taught Chloe that she's not alone and that she doesn't need to be mean and angry 24/7 to get attention, and with some patience, she can learn to do better.

Miraculous: Tales of Kitty Noire and Scarabella [Malta's Edition]

I wanted to make my own AU/universe headcanon after watching the special haha xD of how the show would play out if like, Zoe and Alya were the main characters.

The story would star Zoe (Lee) Bourgeois, daughter of famous fashion magazine director Audrey Bourgeois and stepdaughter to Andre Bourgeois the mayor of Paris. She was born to an unnamed Mr.Lee, but her biological father and mother quickly separated and she was raised with her mother in Paris. Her mother remarried and gave birth to Chloe before moving back to the US leaving both her children in Paris.

Zoe attends school with Chloe, but Chloe didn't want to be a grade below her sister, so at some point Zoe had to repeat a grade.

Zoe's friends are Marinette, Alix and occasionally Rose, Juleka and Mylene, while Chloe sticks with Sabrina, and Adrien is her childhood friend still. (I headcanon that Adrien is closer to Chloe because Zoe would just often be outside and hanging out with her other friends while Chloe stayed indoors a lot)

When the new school year starts, Alya and Adrien are the new students, and they quickly make friends over that - as well as befriending Nino and Marinette respectively.

They become Kitty Noire and Scarabella because they are the ones to run into and help Fu. The stories of their adventures would then just be the usual - just a different dynamic between the heroes.

Another canon divergence is that in this universe, Emilie is the butterfly user and the one who's still alive - Natalie our bi queen will still be Mayura before the peacock miraculous is fixed - and felix is gone (sorry felix loves) and Adrien sort of takes his place. - - - - - -

Love Square/Relationships:

Zoe's crushes: Marinette (past) and Scarabella. Alya's crush: Nino and slightly Zoe & Marinette [Bi queen] Marinette: Adrien & Scarabella Alix: n/a [aroace queen] Chloe: Marinette Nino: Alya Adrien: Marinette The others are pretty much like canon I guess xD - - - - - -

Miraculouses:

Zoe: Cat Alya: Ladybug Marinette: Fox Nino: Turtle Chloe: Bee Alix: Rabbit Gabriel: Peacock Emilie: Butterfly Adrien: Peacock - - - - - -

I think Marinette would then end up knowing Alya's identity, while Chloe finds out Zoe's. Chloe is a mean brat in the universe, but she gets her deserved redemption!! Other notes? Lila comes in the picture, and is just Lila. I like her as a lying baddie. Kagami, she's just there. Maybe small rivalry with Zoe, but she's cool for the most part.

If Chloe Bourgeois really was always meant to be a cruel and terrible person unworthy of a miraculous, all I have to say is that the writers did NOT handle that well.

Since we’re both Chloe fans, have u seen the blog called immaturityofthomasastruc. It’s kinda a master list of Thomas Astrucs inappropriate internet behavior. (Ex: he compared Chloe stans to r*pe apologists, and claimed Adrien fans are sexist since they want more screen time). Mostly death of author when I think of miraculous lately.

I have seen it around. And I'm not even surprised at Astruc's horrid behavior. Just what is wrong with him?

How does Chloe even compare to that? She may have done awful things, but nothing she ever did could ever compare to that. -_- I get that Astruc hates Chloe, but that hate went too far. It's disgusting, honestly. (And creating Zoe to make her look bad only makes him look worst.)

And how does wanting more screentime = sexist? Uhh... Yeah... There are reasons why people are abandoning this fandom, and one of the main has to be Astruc.

I'm just done.

(Whatever ML content I post from now on will be strictly fanon and headcanon based. That's it. If Chloe won't get the recognition and love she deserves, I'll gladly give her just that.)

You're Worse Than The Liar

“Was all a friendship just a fucking joke to you” yelled Marinette as she stormed classroom with Adrien behind her who looked just as angry, “What are you talking about Marinette?” asked Alya,

“You lot pretending to be friends with me because you couldn’t get rid of me” growled Marinette as the most of the class went pale, their eyes shifting around the classroom in order to avoid Marinette eyes.

“Marinette, I don’t understand what you’re saying, we always been friends with you,” said Rose quietly, “she saw the texts” snapped Adrien “all of them”. “What texts are you talking about dude,” asked Nino who was the only one in the classroom with a genuine look of confusion on his face, “these” Adrien replied shoving his phone into Nino’s hands so he could read them, as Nino scrolled through the texts he grew angrier and angrier.

“What the hell Alya” he shouted as he finished reading “if you didn’t want to be friends with Marinette, you could have just told her and she would have left you alone”, “Well how the hell were we supposed to know that?” retorted Alix, “By simply telling her” stated Chloe moving towards Marinette, “it’s the reason she stays away from me other than the fact that I’m a bitch to her”.

“You didn’t need to play with my feelings like that, pretend to believe Lila’s lies just to get away from me, you never need to do anything other than telling me,” said Marinette her voice get wobbly even though her eyes still burned with anger, “I thought you guys were nice but it looks like you worst than Lila” stated Adrien, “was your friendship just as false with me just as false as Marinette”.

“No no no, Adrien we liked hanging out with you” answered the class, “me or my money” he responded which most of the class looked completely shocked at how cynical he sounded, “No” they cried but the look on Adrien faced show that he didn’t believe them, “Why should we believe you when you already admitted to keeping Marinette around because she gave you free food and outfits?” he growled.

None of the class could respond but instead lowered their heads down in shame, “Alya” said Nino which made her raise her head, “we’re done”. “What?” gasped Alya, “I can’t date someone who would treat my childhood friend like that, that goes for the rest of you lot, you not my friends any more and you never will be again” he responded, “but-” started Alya but was cut off by Marinette, “Stop it Alya, you lot don’t deserve our kindness if you dare treat me like that” she snapped as she stormed out of the room followed by Adrien and Nino. “You know at least I have the decency to be honest about being a backstabbing bitch unlike you lot” stated Chloe as she slammed the door shut behind her.

Bonus explanation - when Adrien asked why they didn’t fact check Lila’s lies, the class amitted to him that they only did it to get Marinette to leave them alone because they find her clingy and when Adrien responded by saying that friends stick together, they admit they were never friends and they were only being polite but she kept coming back. Alya even said that getting food and gifts off Marinette was a bonus for them. They all assumed Adrien would keep quiet about it because he’s the golden child, someone who doesn’t like drama but Adrien was too pissed off to let this go so he went straight to Marinette with the texts.

Nino didn’t know because the class didn’t want him to tell Marinette since he was childhood friends with Marinette, so he had no idea about the class lying to Marinette either.

Chloe didn’t know because the class weren’t friends with her and she hated Marinette so it wouldn’t matter if she found out.
