I want to make it clear that if you're not vegan/planning to become vegan, you're not welcome on my blog. I don't care if you're the best person in the world otherwise. If you don't think animals shouldn't have to unnecessarily die, you're not allowed here.

Vegans

If your lifestyle is so good for the planet, then why does soy farming take up four times as much water than normal arable farming?

the argument that veganism and a pro-choice stance are incompatible is missing such a basic part of veganism lol like, veganism is one of the most pro-choice things out there because it’s fundamentally against cows or other livestock being artificially inseminated aka forced into pregnancy i mean. duh

aside from that, it’s just so silly that people make the argument in the first place because pro-choice puts priority on autonomous life which is exactly what veganism is about. veganism and pro-choice are about protecting and stopping the unnecessary death of autonomous life.

As annoying as "I'm not vegan because meat tastes good" people are, at least they're actually being honest.

never let anyone tell you that kids need to eat meat to grow up healthy because I’ve been a vegetarian my entire life (as soon as I recognized what meat was when I was grossed out by a chicken nugget at age 3) and despite all of my food allergies, I’m perfectly healthy and have never had any nutritional deficiencies

I’m not vegan (I’m not even vegetarian) and I probably never will be. Let’s face it: I like drinking milk. It’s probably all based upon that one reason.

if someone ever tried to take away the rights of a vegan to be vegan
