I'm so desperate to get a shower stool already so I can finally shave my legs again??? I know I don't need to shave but I really enjoy having smooth legs and I can't bend over in the shower anymore without passing out, so I officially can't shave without a stool
i've got one saved on my amazon wishlist but every time we get money it has to be used towards groceries or cat food or the car and it's really starting to feel like i'm never going to be able to get this shower stool :/
My brain is so ?? I forget the word? Problematic?? Troublesome?? tonight. I'm having a hard time thinking of correct words to use, and it's making me a bit angry. This just happens sometimes where I'll need a word for my sentence, and my brain offers nothing or it'll offer some random word that isn't the right one. Even now, I'm still struggling to figure out what word I mean at the beginning of this post? Complicated? Idk it's too hard to keep thinking about it
I really miss going for walks in nature. I haven't been able to do that in over a year because my cane doesn't help my back pain and dizzy spells enough, but my wheelchair doesn't do well on outside terrain. I just want to go out for a walk again so badly. I want to hear the birds chirping and feel the breeze on my skin as I walk, I want my freedom back. Someday, I hope to have a mobility aid that will give me my freedom back.
For years, I've had this slight jerk/spasm in my neck. It started in middle school, and it used to be barely noticeable even to me, but now I'm 26, and the spasms have spread? The one in my neck is stronger and more noticeable now. My doctor even saw it on an x-ray somehow? Recently, I've developed a spasm/jerk in my abdomen/torso area, and most recently, a slight jerk in my right leg. I also occasionally get what seem to be tremors? And I have no idea what's triggering any of this. I told my doctor, and she put me on prescription potassium, but it hasn't helped at all. If anything, I feel like it's still just getting worse? I don't know 😞
I want to be successful at something for once in my life. It feels like the moment I became disabled all my success and progress in life just stopped, and no matter how hard I try, I can't get it going again. I think the reason I feel like such a big burden all the time is because I don't really have anything to offer to those around me. Idk I'm just in my feelings about life rn you can ignore this
Took a shower and decided maybe shaving my legs while sitting on the side of the tub wouldn't be so bad, but the side of the tub was too thin to sit on properly, so I had to balance myself with a bunch of my muscles in my legs and lower back
So now my lower back pain is flaring up and my legs feel so weak I can barely stand 🫠 this was not worth it, I'm never shaving again until I get a shower chair/stool
I have such a cute idea for a new craft I want to make, but I have no money for the supplies 💔
I'm so desperate to just have another craft to get my hands on because I've run out of supplies and crafts are my go to hobby when I'm not feeling well 😞
My cardiologist refused to officially diagnosed me with POTS today even though two other doctors confirmed I have it based on my tilt table results, SOLELY based on the fact that he and I quote "doesn't understand the significance of the nitroglycerin. Everyones heart rate goes up when given that?" Why are YOU the one who's supposed to diagnose me when you don't even fully understand how the test you ordered works.
