Di Yange transmigrated into this unfamiliar world, and only by courting death could she return.
In order to return as soon as possible, she disguised herself as a man, thought of every possible way to go against the main character, and became brothers with the villains.
In the end, by accident, she not only saved all the villains but also walked the path of the villains, step by step becoming the Lord Emperor of the Upper Realm from an ordinary person.
Until one day, as she looked at the group of villains she had once saved who now wanted to execute her, she suddenly laughed, bewitching and alluring.
This day had finally come; she could finally go home.
However, Heaven’s Dao exposed her past.
As each of her disguises fell off one by one, everyone’s eyes were filled with tears.
So it turned out that their Lord Emperor had done so many things behind their backs.
And Di Yange was so angry that her face turned green. She just wanted to go home, so why did it have to expose all the crazy things she did when she was young and hot-blooded?
Talmora started out as a D&D campaign that I joined with my friends. The world grew before my eyes and after it ended I wanted to keep the world going. We started to draft more about the characters after the campaign ended and this lead to the creation of a side story following the descendent of one of the characters in the main timeline.
I want to create and expand this world so much farther than the confines of our little group. These are tales of fae, demons, discovery, and the ties that bind us to who we are.
As of now we have Talmora, which I am not sure of how I want to tell that story just yet and The Book of Annui, which is an RPG-maker style psychological horror game that I am currently working on with my friends. It's still in it's infancy but there will be many many sketches and ideas shared in this blog. The same goes with Talmora.
My friends and I have so many thoughts that I can't wait to share in this blog. Screaming into the void until maybe it shouts back.
For now I offer up a sketch as a peace offering to the internet gods. Meet our target board Annui. She's 9 years old and unfortunately has seen many horrors.
Man you guys have got to be getting sick of this header image by now lol
WHAT IS BROKEN DIMENSIONS?
Welcome back to my queue of posts brought over from the free tier on Patreon! Please consider reading the original post here and giving it some love (engagement has been pretty slow over on the Patreon page). Thank you!
Now, let's get into my favorite thing ever:
»--•--«
WHAT IS BROKEN DIMENSIONS?
Broken Dimensions is a science-fiction fantasy universe filled with magic, mythology, and futuristic tech. It is made up of hundreds of reality pockets called dimensions, all of which were made from or broken off of the Origin world, Earth, or each other. The project itself is characterized by conniving gods, an epic hard magic system, and all kinds of character-focus hijinks!
In more specific terms, Broken Dimensions is a multi-year worldbuilding and storytelling project. I've been working on it since early 2020, although some of its base concepts were taken from previous original projects of mine that I developed in high school. The project has been a work in progress for the last five years, and I suspect it always will be - which I have no qualms about!
However, what I get to share with you folks is the product of all that work - the stuff that's finished and hammered out! On this Patreon, you'll get to read about all the worldbuilding I've done over the years, engage with fresh comics and illustrations, and watch the rest of the project develop in real time!
I'm truly excited to begin sharing things with you all, and I hope you'll stick around for the ride.
Here's some more info on what you can expect from Broken Dimensions:
Three (?) Focal Projects
Broken Dimensions (BrDim) currently has 2 major focal projects that in development: The Lycanthra Syndicate and Fractal Alliances.
The Lycanthra Syndicate (TLS) is a work-in-progress webcomic I plan to start sharing sometime this year! It started off as a written story, back in 2020 when BrDim was new and recently cobbled together. Since then, it has become a passion project and served as part of my senior thesis when I graduated with my Digital Arts degree!
I've been slowly chipping away at pages and concept art for the series for the last year or so, and I can't wait to start putting it out into the world! It might be a few months yet, though, and there's some fun introductory stuff I plan to start posting in February - for ALL the focal projects, not just TLS. Keep an eye out for that! ;)
Fractal Alliances (FA), the other major project, is my baby. Some of the characters in it are almost a decade old now, and the more I write and revise and build out their lives and world, the more I love them.
That said, FA is a big, BIG project. Fractal Alliances is an anthology-like multi-media series that follows the unlikely friends who rule or come to rule the great interdimensional superpowers of Tartarus and the New Empire of Aetheria. The series is made up of not only written works, but also narrative illustration series, short comics, and storyboards. There's war and espionage, romance and cruel betrayals, family trauma and cultural erasure, and so much more!
Sharing Fractal Alliances with the world will take a long, long time because of its many facets, and because it spans over 100 chronological years in canon! But it has been and will continue to be worth it.
There is also a third, more nebulous focal project called Prophecy Lost, which I haven't quite known what to do with since I started it way back in 2019, right before I began working on Broken Dimensions.
Prophecy Lost (PL) follows one very important character (who starts out as a side character), an unfortunate focal protagonist, and several meddling gods as they race to find the goddess of Prophecy during the Revival of Magic. Out of all three of these major projects, PL is the one you all will likely see the most conceptual art and writing for.
Someday, though, I will nail down how to format it! In the mean time, you guys get to watch me throw things at the wall to see if they stick.
Worldbuilding
The next thing you can expect to find a lot of on this Patreon pertaining to Broken Dimensions is a large amount of worldbuilding! I love storytelling, but what really soothes the itch in my brain is developing the worlds in which my stories take place.
Each focal story takes place in a different dimension, right?
Prophecy Lost, the story that chronologically comes first, takes place in [ x ], the Origin world, and follows to story of three god-favored characters as they embark on a journey to find the lost goddess of prophecy.
Fractal Alliances takes place mostly in two worlds, Tartarus and Aetheria, because the story is about the tentative alliance between those two interdimensional powerhouses (or more specifically: their leadership). There's also a lot of cultural exchange happening in FA, which is my favorite part of it all!
The Lycanthra Syndicate takes place in a small archipelago-type world called the Iron Archipelagos, which formed as an offshoot-world of [ x ].
Over the course of the next however many months, I plan to share all my worldbuilding notes on each of those worlds! My process is a bit enigmatic, so I'll do my best to tell you all about how I got from point A to point B - but the point of sharing these things will not be to teach, but to share for the fun of it. If you're a worldbuilding lore junkie, you'll LOVE this part of the Patreon!
Each focal story also takes place in different places in time. The chronology of Broken Dimensions is perhaps the most complicated part of its worldbuilding foundation, simply because its long—but don’t worry, it will all be summed up in one succinct text post!
Some Disclaimers
I adore Broken Dimensions as a project. I'm sure that's pretty clear. However, large parts of this project deal with heavy topics such as abuse, oppression, and unjust violence on those who have been abused and oppressed. Sharing BrDim on a platform like this, at my own discretion, means I can add content warnings when needed, and a I will.
Please heed them.
As a writer, I get a kick out of putting my characters through hell and giving them peace. There are many wonderful, bright, sappy moments in Broken Dimensions. There are also many dark, horrific moments. While I want as many people to enjoy Broken Dimensions as possible, I also want to avoid people getting hurt.
The way to keep you, the reader, from being harmed or triggered by work I've created is to not read or consume the media that harms or triggers you. Keep an eye on the content warnings tags, folks.
On a much happier note, though, I'm delighted to say Broken Dimensions is a very inclusive project. It is written by a queer nerd for queer nerds!
Almost every story focuses on the trials of a young or powerful queer person, and follows their journey to self-improvement, self-actualization, or personal healing. Some longer stories, like Fractal Alliances, tackle more complicated things like political injustice and imperialism, the morals of weapons manufacturing and distribution, and the effect of large propaganda machines. Even still, the backbone of the story rests upon the relationships between a diverse cast of LGBTQ+ and POC characters.
I can also say we don't bury our gays here... although that does not mean some of the gays don't die. ;) (Prepare yourselves.)
Patreon Content
Before I close this introductory post out, I'd like to give you all a more solid idea of what you can expect to see here on Patreon, and why it will be different (and more exclusive) that my other social media sharing spots.
General
The goal is to share at least 1 short story (or one arc) of at least one major project (FA, PL, or TLS) per month!
Additionally, each of the 3 focal stories will be receiving their own introduction posts, but those will follow the first chunk of worldbuilding that will be uploaded over the next few months. Concept art, official illustrations, and some official comics will also be intermittently released pertaining to each of the main 3 projects! These are expected to be shared much more frequently than polished written or comic pieces for right now (again, full-time retail job).
Worldbuilding Wednesday
Worldbuilding posts are, for the next few months, going to be the bread and butter of this Patreon. This is part of my plan to reorganize the chronological sharing of the Broken Dimensions story and re-collect and re-order everything cohesively in one place. Many of these worldbuilding posts will remain free, as they will be edited and revised versions of what has already been shared publicly on my Instagram and my website.
Timeline Tuesday
There will also be a specific day on which, for several weeks, I will be running a limited series called Timeline Tuesday in which I break down the history and share some my favorite tibits about each of the 10 Eras of the Broken Dimensions timeline. Kind of like a "cool history facts" day, but for a fake world of fiction and magic!
(This will sometimes come with art!)
Interaction Opportunities
Lastly, you can expect a lot of opportunities for engagement and interaction here! I love hearing what people think about my work, and I'm more than ready talk to people about what I do. There will be semi-regular "Ask Me About..." posts, comments will always be open, and of course, you can always reach me on Cara or Instagram either in the comments or my DMs!
I'm also looking into Patreon's Live Chat option and possibly doing live streams on my Instagram - there will be many opportunities to interact, I assure you.
Thank you for tuning into this introduction to the project! I hope you’ll stay tuned as the worldbuilding posts begin to go live, alongside teasers for written content, polished artwork, and the Lycanthra Syndicate comic!

I'll be seeing you! Take care out there,

An empire of vampires in the heart of Europe. An unstable king bound as a vessel to an even more unstable Goddess; a heartless general sworn to stay by his side no matter what; a maniac princess raised amongst madness and hate.
All hail the Sun Goddess. The Empire of the Sun will endure, the Empire of the Sun will not falter, the Empire of the Sun will never fall. Or will it?
~~**~~
Empire of the Sun (nicknamed EOTS) is actually a project and a world created by my friend @cultoficarus. All credits for the idea, worldbuilding and settings go to him; but I also help develop characters, relationships and bounce ideas for it.
EOTS is our pet project with our favourite OCs and our number one ship (the king and the general alluded above). I'll go into more detail about my side of the ship (the general) in another post, but expect to see them around here a lot because of this.

ya medieval fantasy, draft 1.1, ~80k words. identity, change, growth.
In the thousand years that elves have lived on Pasithee, no human has entered elven cities and managed to tell the tale. André Portalis is determined to be the first.
Kyhrra and Alacor Dire have vastly different reasons to vouch for him, Corydalis Yanu wants him to themself, and Sebastien Prue wants nothing and everything to do with him.
André has his own struggles to face, though, including navigating an intricate web of politics and legend. The present is difficult enough, but historians have to look at every angle.
features:
elves elves elves, magic, dances and festivals, language learning, nerds and himbos, a singular dragon (1), a non-binary deuteragonist, an amputee protagonist, and some horses and birds (for good measure). no primary romantic relationships.
primary cast:
these folks narrate, commit most of the atrocities, and are the protagonists.
kyhrra dire - she/her. elf of the arvidor clan. secret softie. "Kyhrra Dire lived as an ultimately selfless woman, with little regard for her own reputation or safety, who through a singular fall and winter learns to break the cycle and let loose."
andré portalis - he/him. human from the distant empire of fraunca. polyglot and history nerd. "André Portalis landed on Pasithee without a place in the world except for a single order, but Arvidor teaches him an entirely different way of life and gives him the space for it."
alacor dire - he/him. elf of the arvidor clan, youngest member of the arvidorian council. wannabe womanizer. "Alacor Dire’s responsibilities built and continually pressured him, but external conflict ultimately pushes him to make changes for the Arvidor Clan—but especially, change for himself."
secondary cast:
these folks may narrate in a sequel, and are the deuteragonists.
corydalis yanu - they/them. elf of the arvidor clan. scientist enraptured with humans. "Corydalis Yanu was on the outskirts of social circles in Arvidor, but the arrival of Portalis and the tightening of deadlines allowed them to realize that there may be a bigger life for them than expected."
sebastien prue - he/him. half-human elf of the arvidor clan. quiet outcast type. "Sebastien Prue was comfortable in his own company, but the Arvidor clan changes around him, and he realizes it is a chance to make a change for people like him—now and future—even if it takes some work."
this project comes out of a lot of things, but mostly out of my love for languages. using this blog to keep all of my rambling in one place!
“The scent of Northshore” project will address one of the client’s leading challenges, which is intervening the Workshop precinct to make the area more attractive and engaging to a broader community (Northshore's client brief, 2023). Therefore, one of the Workshop spaces will be utilised to build a craft workshop that offers activities consisting of making three key products, namely candles, essential oils and soap bars. As a craft making workshop, it will provide visitors with a place and lots of opportunities to freely express their creativeness and artistry. When coming to The scent of Northshore, customers are able to decide which kinds of craft they wish to try, then to customise their arts, specifically in forms of candles, essential oils, and soap bars, with a diverse selection of smell, colours and materials. Moreover, tourists can make friends, as well as heal and wind down after their busy work lives as the ability to create a relaxing and social space is one of the reasons why craft making workshops are always popular. Consequently, this workshop project is expected to not only fulfil the client’s vision of giving tourists a “immerse yourself” experience when visiting Northshore Brisbane, but also meet the requirements including making use of and drawing attention to the unique characteristics of the site, together with encouraging return visitation, which will be explained in the following posts (Northshore's client brief, 2023).

We do not judge this Birdie because she does not know any better, as we all have experienced.
We do not judge this Birdie because she is remembering.
We do not judge this Birdie because the world is ending.
We do not judge this Birdie because she is changing.
GENRE — coming-of-age, campy queer horror and 20th century historical fiction.
THEMES — queer identity, consumption as it pertains to love, late-stage capitalism, and desire, queer longing, and cannibalism as metaphor
WARNINGS — graphic imagery, death, drug use, and depictions of mental illness (including suicidal ideation). This project also heavily deals with homophobia and transphobia and the depictions included may be triggering for some readers.
POV — a shifting perspective ranging from scenes told in the first person to ones with an omniscient third person
INSPIRATIONS — susan sontag's notes on camp, 1980s/90s LGBTQ+ history, punk subbaculture, spike lee's do the right thing, reality bites, car button cloth by the lemonheads, luc guadanino's bones and all.
STATUS — first part has been written, though in need of a rework; focusing on developing the characters and themes.

Birdie Gish-Sato wakes up in 2023 with the fuzzy logic that she ate someone and a bullet in her mouth. In 1993, she runs into trouble with the law on the night of her band Toilet Bowl's third night on tour. Feeling as though the world is ending quietly, 2023 Birdie goes about her day as normal as she pieces together who she ate. An omniscient and mysterious set of voices known as The Birds navigates us between the thirty years that separate these twin tales. They will show us who Birdie ate, why, and ultimately explores what gnaws at everyone's bile and stomach acid and causes them to want to eat.
𝙲 𝙰 𝚂 𝚃 —
BIRDIE GISH-SATO — portrayed by miki berenyi of lush. A fire-engine haired phoenix of the 1990s. A drummer in a shitty band called Toilet Bowl, the best McDonald's Employee of the Month, proud member of the NYC queer scene, and overall asshole.
SANTO GALLITO — portrayed by benicio del toro. Forty-six miles from the last rest stop, SANTO cries in the bathroom. He has a wooden key in hand as he sniffles on the toilet seat. He's left home to be a man, to make something of himself, and to finally find some peace of mind. Set in 1993 or 2023, Santo is a trans Puerto Riccan living in Detroit, working at Kroger in the metro area as a cashier.
RONNIE VOLKOV — portrayed by angelina jolie. A hell-raiser who makes goosebumps as she walks past, VERONIKA VOLKOV has been a prima ballerina, a murderer, an addict, and a (aspiring) rockstar. She chose RONNIE as a name when she turned twenty-one and manifested her destiny much the way her mother did when they first came to America.
JUPITER TUCKIR — portrayed by al pacino. JUPITER TUCKER is a scoundrel garbage man, former muse, former artist, failed gifted child, and failed lawyer. He has just robbed a grocery store, is coming off a manic episode, and drove his mother's truck off the side of a cliff.
JOSIE ABERNATHY — portrayed by drew barrymore. A sweet young thing and shift lead at the McDonald's Birdie works at. In 2023, she's an it-girl influencer who reads fanfiction at the drive-thru window, and in 1993, she's in over her head, a smidge addicted to cocaine, and trying to 'get her shit together.' In either plot line, Birdie loves her.
