Hello!!! I hope you're doing well! If you're still doing the prompt thing, can you please write yoonkook with nurse!yoongi and patient!jungkook who keeps flirting with yoongi anx like he would act as if he hates it but actually he just gets shy and flustered but it comes out as a bit mean but jungkook thinks he's absolutely adorable??? And like even after jungkook gets discharged he would keep going back to the hospital with silly excuses just to see the cute nurse??? Asdgjskeowo THANK YOU!!!
After the accident, Jungkook woke up in a hospital bed andswore that the person leaning over him was glowing. The sunlight coming throughthe window framed his blond hair like a halo. Naturally, the first words out ofJungkook’s mouth were, “Are you an angel?”
He received a blank stare for a moment before perfect, pinklips curled into a small frown. The angel straightened, looking off to the sidefor a moment. When he spoke, his voice was quiet but a smooth, low rumble thatwas pleasing to the ears.
“No. I’m a nurse. You have a concussion,” hestated simply before walking out of Jungkook’s sight.
Shortly after, Jungkook was given both bad and good news. Hewould have to stay at the hospital for a few days, but the angel, Nurse Min,would be his attending nurse. Now, Jungkook was never exactly good at subtlety, but he usually kept his (probably inappropriate) thoughts to himself. Bearing‘concussion’ as a poor excuse, he decided to throw it out the window.
It started as off-handed compliments.
“Your hair looks so soft.”
Then it turned into cheesy pick-up lines in an attempt tomake his nurse crack a smile.
“Are you from Seoul? I think you’re mySeoul-mate.”
“I should call you Google, because you have everythingI’m looking for.”
“Can I follow you? Because my mom told me to follow mydreams.”
Yoongi stayed stoic, rolling his eyes or letting out adisparaged sigh at the cheesy lines. He wouldn’t admit it, but he actuallyfound it oddly endearing. It wasn’t the first time he’d had a patient flirtwith him and he knew it wouldn’t be the last, and normally it annoyed him. Itusually irritated him quite a lot. Then again, it was usually some bold womanor confused man who had mistaken him for a girl somehow.
By the time Jungkook was released, he had grown bold enoughto actually ask for Yoongi’s number, which was, of course, not given. Yoongi letout a sigh, followed by a fond chuckle after Jungkook had left the buildingfollowing being discharged. It was cute, but he probably wouldn’t see him again.
It was believable enough, he supposed, when Jungkook wasback a week later complaining about spells of dizziness. Yoongi rolled hiseyes, led him to a bed, and told him the doctor would greet him shortly. Hepretended that Jungkook’s whine of disapproval didn’t coax out a small smile.
Like clockwork, Jungkook was back in the ER after anotherweek. Yoongi leveled him with a glare, listening as Jungkook gave his excuse.
“I think I pulled a muscle or something.” It wasimmediately followed by, “Also, I think I might have some kind of heartdisease. It always beats really fast whenever I see you.”
Yoongi forced down his smile, praying that he wasn’tblushing. He turned and cleared his throat quietly, quickly informing Jungkookthat he’d retrieve a physician. Jungkook was giving him a cheeky grin when hereturned with the doctor. He suddenly felt like he should stop procrastinatingon his paperwork.
The very next week, Jungkook was back again with a long, oftsidetracked story about how exactly he had ended up with his hand super-glued tohis face. The entire time she spoke, he was holding his cheek, looking likesomeone who was dreamily staring at their crush from a distance. Except, Yoongiwas right in front of him, being the one he was staring at dreamily. He focusedon looking at the adhesive pulling at his skin.
“This has got to be getting expensive for you,no?” he asked absentmindedly.
“I guess you could consider dating me an act ofcharity, then,” was Jungkook’s clever response.
It was really, really difficult for Yoongi not to let outthe flustered squeak that clawed at his throat. He swallowed it with effort, refusing to give in and let out a laugh. Honestly, he was starting to enjoytheir strange encounters. He enjoyed it a lot let when it came to actuallydoing his job, however. He had to lean in close to see what he was doing andapply the solvent properly. He felt a bit too close. He could feel Jungkook’sbreath faintly ghosting over his cheek. It was even worse because Jungkook justwouldn’t shut up and he could feel his cheeks burning.
“You’re even more beautiful this close.”
The next week, Jungkook’s visit was even more ridiculous.Yoongi came up to him in the waiting room, staring down at him in disbeliefwhile Jungkook beamed at him from his seat. Yoongi didn’t even say a word, shaking his head and leading him to a bed before even asking what the hellreason he had come up with this time. Yoongi struggled to keep his composure athis shameless answer.
“I cut my finger. I didn’t have any bandages.”
As if that wasn’t bad enough, he actually held out theincriminating finger. On the end of his pointer finger was a small cut, probably a paper cut, that had already stopped bleeding on its own. Yoongiblinked at him, utterly speechless. His face flared red when Jungkook continuedhis absurd reasoning.
“Maybe you could kiss it better?”
In a rare moment of confidence, Yoongi managed to shoot backwith, “I charge extra for that.”
“So, dinner and a dessert, then?”
This was adorable to write, so thank you.
Bonus: A month later, Yoongi introduces his new boyfriend to his friends and when they as how they met, Jungkook decides that the best wording to explain it is to say, ‘I got hit by a car so I could see him.’ Yoongi claims he still has a concussion.
