tbh Caramelinda is the ONLY NPC that I’ve trusted this entire season; Brennan also said she’s one of his favorite NPCs, not that that means she ISN’T nefarious, but I find it hard to believe she would do anything that could lead to her daughters getting killed. she’s hard on them, but she loves them.

I’ve been pretty inclined to trust her as well--at least concerning her intentions with her family. Like, I wasn’t sure about her politics in general since Brennan gave us that line about her being kinda isolationist and “what the world took from her” (which we now know is about Lazuli) but from an in game standpoint, I never really got bad vibes from her and from an out of game standpoint, I feel like “fun dad/mean-to-the-point-of-literal-evil mom” is not really in line with how Brennan tends to frame things (not that I know the man’s brain. Just going by the last few seasons of d20). Strict =/= good (see eg: Goldenhoard) but it doesn’t mean bad either and, in fact, in a world like this, to be strict is to be loving if you want your super high risk for assassination daughters to stay alive. And, I mean, was she wrong? How did messing around work out for Jet? And Ruby is only alive by the skin of her teeth.

So, for the record, I am still hard Team Cara until we get explicit proof to the contrary, but I like to be as thorough as possible when I recap.

I was going to see Frozen II today and then I realized the theater would be PACKED TO THE GILLS with children and I was like “no they’ll think I’m a creep there alone” but I’m seeing Knives Out on Sunday!

oh frozen is a movie you see in the morning on a weekday FOR SURE though i might see it, like, late tomorrow after the children's bedtimes

I think the actual Painting with a Twist group have a rewards points program, so you accumulate them and then can use them for discounts on sessions. And if you're tired of canvases all the time, you can also do wine glasses. There's one I went to at Grant and the Boulevard and I really enjoyed it, and I have ZERO artistic talent and it turned out really nice. It was really calming to just focus on something like that for a couple hours.

Huh, neat. I’ve never actually gone to one before. We were supposed to go for my friend’s bachelorette party but lol you probably already heard the fallout of that story from Britt at one point. Yeah, painting is super calming. As frustrating as it can be for me sometimes, putting paint on the canvas is such a wonderful tactile sensation. Never got that from crayons, pencils, or anything else.

Hypothetical Question For A Fictional Situation...

Is it black powder? I think black powder is actually made wet and then dried. So if you get it wet and then it’s dried again, it should still, you know. Go off.

Got to spend a much needed weekend with @proserphone. We went to see “LIFE”, that new thriller alien movie with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal. It was awesome, highly recommend. We were both actually scared, which is a feat cause we both love horror movies/games so scaring us is hard. It was great, and then we went to Nifty Fifty’s to get food and milkshakes. :D
