Can I propose to Axe Uhhh who said that idk what happened that was weird lol
My actual question is, how would everyone react if it turns out Reader DID have prior knowledge? Like if Reader ended up being one of us UTMV nerds who knows everything about them (maybe not them specifically of course but in the broad sense of knowing their backstories and stuff) and confessed that they know all of that? They still have no idea about the soul bond though since they assume they just fell into a random universe where a bunch of them are trapped for an unknown reason
Ahhhhhhh thank you for my very first ask!
I think if Reader knew, they'd probably spill their knowledge to the guys. Reader is definitely a no-nonsense, level headed person and wouldn't see the problem on letting them know what she knows.
Everyone else's reactions? They'd probably be ecstatic? Because if, hey, reader knows all of them already then this should be a piece of cake to get her to stay, right? Reader would know all about SOULs and the like, right? Easy! She'll just want to stay!
Right?
So... what if i were to write a fanfic. What if it was a fantasy mage!reader x skeleton harem and its a rivals / enemies to lovers fic.
What if all of the characters have development and i plan on making it a pretty long slow burn fic. What if it was inspired by sins aplenty and house on lne 66 along with various other fics that i cant think of rn but its ok. The only catch would be that the first two chapters would be strictly worldbuilding....
What if i did that. Hypothetically. Would u read it?
A/B/O and Then That One Guy - Sans and Papyrus Ensemble X Reader
My idea of a crack fic where Sans drags his and his brother's AU counterparts in through the machine - but somehow their soulmate, MC, as well... where their world doesn't have monsters... or the Alpha, Beta, and Omega dynamics that all the other skeleton's worlds have.
This is basically how the first chapter would go. A little rushed and a little longer than I thought it would be for an intro chapter, but I hadn't eaten all day and this isn't edited, so. Yeah. Badly written beginning to a crack fic.
Enjoy the song as well - Mind Over Matter by Young the Giant

Ugh, your head…
You felt as if someone took a baseball bat to your forehead, which didn't help the fact that you thought you slept wrong and your neck was cramping up. The world was spinning, and you groaned, hand going up to press into your eyes. Did you drink last night? This had to be the worst hangover ever if you did.
"THEY'RE WAKING UP!" Oh my god- whoever was talking needed to stop talking ASAP, because their shouting caused a sharp pain in your temples, your hands coming to cover your ears as you flinched.
"Ugh, please stop talking." All the other chatter that surfaced because of your waking immediately stopped short, the whole world holding its breath, waiting for you to open your eyes - and when you did, you screamed.
They were all startled by it, each skeleton flinching at the sound of your shout to varying degrees. Some of them were annoyed by it, while the others were worried or receding into themselves. You immediately tried to back away, but as soon as you tried to sit up, you were hit with an intense wave of nausea from trying to sit up too quickly, and you flopped back down lifelessly onto the hard surface you were laying on.
"Oh my god, oh my god-" You were panicking, your head pounding was not helping.
"ok- okay, calm down, kiddo, you're fine." One of them stepped forward, a round face, white eye lights and a strained grin on his face as he tried to placate your very obvious hyperventilating. "don't worry, no one here's gonna hurt ya-"
"YOU'RE A FUCKING SKELETON!" You hissed with what little breath you had left, very reasonably freaking out. "What the fuck-"
"IT APPEARS THEY ARE NOT FROM A WORLD WITH MONSTERS ON THE SURFACE." Another piped in, crossing his arms, clawed phalanges tapping on his purple and black uniform, sharp purple eye lights giving you’re a disappointed glance, his teeth downturned into a frown.
"Monsters-" You didn't even get to finish panicking before another one spoke over you.
"yeah, i think we can all see that." Another one deadpanned, his hands still firmly pushed into the depths of his orange hoodie's pockets.
"HEY!" Another short one spoke up, his blue eyelights sharpening as he shouted for everyone's attention, frowning as he looked over his shoulder at the others who kept bantering back and forth. "GIVE THEM SOME ROOM, WILL ALL OF YOU? THEY LOOK TERRIFIED!"
"And Um… They Did Just Suffer A Concussion, So-"
"I GOT A CONCUSSION??" Your pain spiked again to shut you up.
"You Need Healing." The tallest of the skeletons pressed, bone brows knitting at the way your face scrunched up, stepping forward despite that all of the others glared at him as he did so. He didn't pay them any mind, his crooked teeth not even frowning as he scooted closer to you. He spread his phalanges out to your face, and you screwed your eyes shut, sure that this trippy moment was how you died - before his metacarpals stopped just before they reached your face - and a soft green light came from his hand.
Within a few minutes, you felt a little light headed, and when you finally cracked your eyes open, you saw that the other skeletons had closed the distance and were all looking over his shoulder. You were definitely not at one-hundred percent, but considering that you could form a thought without being interrupted by another voice or a spike of pain, you thought that was good enough.
You put your hand up to the tallest skeleton's hand, pulling his phalanges away from your face as you sat up slowly, rolling your neck around to get the ache to fade away like the headache had. You saw out of the corner of your eye how a deep amber blush flashed across his face when you pulled his hand away, and you let go of that observation just as quickly, not bothering to dwell on it.
"What are you guys?" That seemed like the most important question, considering they were all fussing over you a few minutes ago, so it was unlikely they'd kill you right now. The tall one wouldn't have healed you otherwise… Although, to be fair, they were all towering over you. Even the shortest ones were at least half a foot taller than you, while the tallest stood to be nearly two feet taller, but the ceiling was accommodating to all of them, none of them really having to worry about hitting their head aside from the largest one.
They all glanced at each other until their eye sockets landed on the soft looking one with white eye lights and a blue sweater, and he gave a sigh. Looks like they picked him to explain.
"we're monsters. skeleton monsters, and uh, from the looks of it, you don't have monsters where you're from..?"
"Only fictional ones." You replied, a lot less freaked out now that you weren't hurt on the… wait, were you lying on a table? They were still surrounding you though, and it was still intimidating to be surrounded by -… one, two, three… fuck, ten of them? Really? Ten?
"right, well… monsters are real here."
"So I can see…" You muttered under your breath - a lot less inaudible than you thought it was considering that half of them didn't appreciate the sass. "Erm… sorry. Keep going."
"yeah, we all lived under a big mountain, and a ten-year-old broke us out using the power of friendship and determination."
You couldn't help but giggle at that explanation, another skeleton piping up to fume at him. "SANS!" He wore a red scarf around his neck and a fashionable letterman jacket, hands on his hips as he scolded the other one.
"am i wrong though?" The shorter skeleton chuckled. "anyway, yeah… we're from the underground… and i may have… screwed up a little bit."
"ONLY A LITTLE?" The skeleton with the purple eyelights rose a bone brow at him, frowning deeply and the rest looked like they weren't very happy either.
"okay, maybe a little more than a little - but uh… you're… not exactly in your universe anymore. you're in mine. and my bro, papyrus'." He gestured to one of the many tall skeletons - the one with the letterman jacket - as he waved hello.
"AND WE'RE ALL SANS AND PAPYRUS." The one with the blue eye lights added in. "JUST DIFFERENT VERSIONS."
"Okay, thank goodness, because I was wondering why you all looked really similar. I thought it was like… a type thing..?" Yeah you didn't really want to continue with that statement, but they all understood. "Um… but if you're all the same person, what am I doing here??"
"THAT'S WHAT WE'RE TRYING OT FIGURE OUT." The one who spoke up this time was a sharper version of Papyrus, wearing a scarf that was torn on one edge, along with scarred eye sockets that burrowed into you judgmentally.
All eyes were on the Sans that fucked up again, and he began to sweat under their gazes. "well uh, yeah that's a good question. it might have something to do with the fact that you're our soulmate, but i'm not… one-hundred percent sure."
"I'm sorry- soulmate?" You blinked twice at him before glancing around the cramped room, wondering if anyone else was as confused as you… but nope, it seemed as though you were alone in that confusion. "Explain?"
"it's when the souls are tied together. you know, meant for each other?" The one with the orange hoodie spoke when everyone else was stumped. "you guys have that idea in your world, right?"
"Uhhh, hypothetically speaking, yes, but it's… not scientifically proven?"
"well it is here." Sans spoke under his breath for you to hear, glancing off to the side with a little scrunch to his nasal ridge that signaled he was upset. At what, you had no idea, but you decided not to dwell on it.
"So what's that mean for me? You kinda just… yoinked me from my house when I was asleep." You deadpanned. "And the only reason I'm buying this whole schtick is because there is no way in hell I would be sitting in front of a bunch of monsters otherwise. Last I checked, the delusions don't usually go this hard."
"probably means yer stuck here with da rest a' us." Oh, you didn't like the way this guy was looking at you - his eye lights red and sharp as he grinned at you wolfishly, sharp gold tooth glinting in the linoleum light in a way that made you cringe away from him a little bit.
"yeah, he's kinda right, unfortunately." Sans sighed as he leaned away from the tabletop you were sitting on, waving everyone away to give you some much appreciated space. "as cool as it would probably be for any of you to go and explore my surface, someone will probably figure out that these guys-" He waved to the other skeletons. "are out of place and will probably come back to ask me questions that i really don't feel like answering."
"So we're all stuck here until you fix our portal home?"
"it's not really a portal, but yeah."
"I got isekai-ed into this place, fuck!" You hissed, rubbing the palms of your hands into your eyes. "And I don't even get cool super powers, god damn it!"
Half the skeletons present snickered and held in their laughter while they receive glares from their more serious counterparts.
"i dunno, i would guess that lacking a presentation is sorta one?" Sans tried to get everyone back on track, but you could only stare at him in confusion.
"What presentation? Was there a group project I didn't know about or?"
As well as you delivered your joke, all of them stared at you in shock. "you… you don't have presentations in your world..?"
"Like powerpoint??"
"ALPHA, BETA, AND OMEGA PRESENTATIONS." Papyrus tried to clarify, leaning into your personal space again, just for you to lean away. "YOU… DON'T SMELL LIKE ANYTHING EITHER."
"Ew, why are you sniffing me?" You cringed as you slowly nudged him away from you.
"well fuck, there's your super power, sweetheart." Shark-toothed Sans laughed as he let everyone else take their turn trying to get a better look at you, as if it would magically make something appear. "ya ain't bound by the same rules that we were. ya ain't got a secondary gender."
Your eyes went wide as he continued to laugh, and realization dawned on you. "Wait - like the fanfiction??" Your expression shifted to one of minor horror. "Oh my god."
"and yer outta luck!" His red eyelights shone brightly as the rest of the skeletons shot him glares. "we're all alphas here."
