He had heard about that new shop from Morgana who had, of course, heard about it from no one else but Ann. She, apparently, had been informed by another class mate about the opening of the new tea shop, and where that girl got the news from he had no clue of. He wondered how it had happened that in the end it had been him, and only him, to visit the shop.
Well, only him wasn’t exactly true, of course. Morgana was, well hidden, in the inside of his bag. And he would stay there as well. Akira wasn’t in the mood to cause a ruckus just because his new pet and self-declared teacher had decided to tag along.
Akira sighed, a soundless one, before entering the building. He was almost instantly mesmerized by the interior. He had expected a traditional tea house, one of those old japanese tea shops that you would still find on the countryside. But no, this was not the countryside of course.
Slowly, he walked into the shop, looking around curiously. The balance between traditional tea house and modern, western impacts was almost perfect. Neither of the two styles was ‘too much’ and so they didn’t clash at all.
Impressed and slightly distracted Akira stopped a bit too sudden when arriving at the counter. There was a small sound of protest coming from his bag but he didn’t pay any attention to it. Morgana simply had to bear with it.
