Day 29: Coming Out

"I think I'm ready." Harry declares suddenly as they lay in each other's arms in the sunny garden of Grimmauld Place.

"What for?" Draco inquires as he absent-mindedly plays with Harry's hair.

"To...to come out to everyone." Harry stutters and Draco looks up into his eyes.

"Are you sure?" Draco asks tentatively because Harry has always been insisting on waiting a few more weeks or months or in this case three years.

"Yes, I think I am ready." Harry says with conviction.

"I'm proud of you then," Draco replies and there's something in his voice that halts Harry for a second.

"You do realise that when I say come out, I mean about our relationship as well?" Harry asks because surely Draco can't be-

By Draco's startled expression, yes he is exactly that dumb.

"Really, Draco? What did you think? I would just announce I'm bi and not tell them that I have a fiance?" Harry snaps angrily because clearly Draco is being ridiculous.

"Well..." Draco starts, then promptly stops then he grins at Harry and says, "It's going to a bloody big shock. Imagine thinking their Savior is a perfect little heterosexual to suddenly getting to know that he is not only bisexual but also engaged to a bloke who happens to be his former rival, ex-Death Eater and is doing dubious work at the moment."

Draco snickers and Harry can't help but join in as he thinks about the look on everyone's faces. But first he needs to tell his friends.

"It's going to be a real shocker to our friends as well. Do you think they know somehow?" Harry asks because it's weird how Hermione who always is perspective in most things and Ron, who might look oblivious but was so observant all the time had no idea. He didn't even think about Blaise or Pansy or the rest of their friend group because it would transform into a headache and he was enjoying his rare day off with his fiance.

"You should really stop refering to being an Unspeakable as dubious work you know?" Harry says as he snuggles closer to Draco.

"Can't very well go around saying my actual job, can I now? It's better for Hermione, she just says she works in what was it? Secretary to some unknown person who did some useless job. As if the greatest witch of our time would do something so mundane and insignificant." Draco scoffs and he is right, Draco can't really say where he works in the Ministry because people would check and that would be troublesome. So he just does dealings in things. What things? Don't ask.

"Do you think I just do it tonight? It's pub night and everyone said they will be attending this one as it's the first one in almost two months." Harry suggests and Draco shrugs before saying, "You could, before you back out or something. Or maybe you can take some more time to think this over."

"No, going to do this tonight. I had a lot of time for thinking." So it's decided. Everyone is in for a shock tonight.

There's a pin drop silence around their table as Harry finally announces that he is bi and infact engaged to Draco. Draco, for his part, just smiles at them and squeezes Harry's waist reassuringly.

"Well that was unexpected." Pansy finally breaks the silence.

"Which part really? Because I had known Harry wasn't straight for a long time." Ginny adds in and Harry levels her a look.

"Yeah, Harry being bi is old news." Seamus states and all around everyone nods or hums in agreement. Are these people serious right now?

"Told you fuckers I would be winning." Blaise smirks at them all and what?

"Weren't we not supposed to say this infront of them?" Ron inquires.

"If you all plan on talking about us, feel free but do explain what exactly did Blaise win and why aren't any of you more suprised." Draco drawls at last when it's clear that they need to intervene.

"We had placed numerous bets of course." Hermione replies as if this is something she does on regular basis.

"What bets and how did Blaise win?" Harry asks, he doesn't really want to know but at the same time he does.

"Oh he won the first one. He said you both were in a actual relationship. I said you were just tired of fights and were being civil for our sake. Everyone had different answers." Neville answers and wow they got great friends.

"What other bets?"

"Nothing." All of them reply in unison so Harry narrows his eyes at them but no one breaks. He huffs and says, "I didn't anticipate this somehow."

"Well, it seems we didn't anticipate a lot of things, love. Starting with how we are going to find new friends because these bastards are ridiculous. The whole lot of them, except maybe Luna." Draco says and Luna gives them a grateful smile.

"Huh really?" Pansy scoffs, "Luna just looks innocent. She had the most prude bets placed. Infact, she was the one to even suggest that there might be something sexual going on and how wonderful it was to be all secretive about it."

They both stare incredulously at Luna who gives them a sheepish smile and a small wave. Devilish the lot of them, thats it.

"So you're all okay with this? Us being together? And me being bi?" Harry asks, just to make sure.

"Yeah, mate. It's old news anyways. As for being engaged to the Ferret. Could have chosen better but well all that obsession at least makes sense now." Ron teases and there are snickers all around.

He playfully shoves Ron and then turns to kiss his fiance. Let the papers make what they want of that. He'll be coming out in two days via the Quibbler anyways. As they break apart, he smiles softly at Draco and he smiles back.

All is good, afterall.

Drunk Confessions (Sort Of)

Harry sips some water, spilling most of it on his shirt.

"Draco!"

The blond smiles and spells Harry's shirt dry.

Harry doesn't even notice and continues his drunken chattering. He’s usually not a lightweight but his birthday celebrations have been on for a while now and their group does have a tendency to get the Birthday Wix plastered.

Merlin! Did he just call them “their” group?

Harry’s loud sigh rouses him from his thoughts.

"Draco has the most gorgeous grey eyes, doesn't he? And that lovely smile that he so freely gives everyone now... it just... just lights up his face, you know?" He babbles unmindful of a startled Draco.

"And when he blushes and tucks his hair behind his ears... nghh I wanna run my hands through his silky hair," he groans wistfully, resting his cheek on his palm and tracing shapes on the wooden table with his other hand.

Draco drops his hand from his hair and fidgets with the sleeve of his jumper.

"You know I got him the blue jumper he's wearing tonight. 'Coz blue brings out his eyes," Harry stage-whispers. "Don't tell him I said that."

"A- alright Potter," Draco stutters, his cheeks heating as Harry smiles dopily, rests his head on Draco’s shoulder and continues chattering.

Hey cuties~

On Tuesday my med class organized a pub night, and it was awesome ヽ(•̀ω•́ )ゝ✧ My roommate and I arrived around 10 minutes late, not because we intended to or anything but the pub was so difficult to find. Even when we got there, not many people had arrived yet so we sat at a table and waited. Most people didn’t get there until around 40-60 mins after the initial time agreed upon. Honestly, I wanted to arrive later too, but my roommate wanted to get there on time so that’s what we did¯_(ツ)_/¯

I won’t lie, I was pretty f’n bored initially 눈_눈 since there was no one to talk to or the convo was just sorta stale for the first hour or so. I ordered a beer and finished it within like a hour which got me slightly buzzed but the convo was awkward and stale which weirdly sobered me back up almost completely. After that I wanted to go to the bathroom and I met a bunch of girls in there lmao 😂 . I then was going back to my table when more girls from a different table started talking to me lol. And then I went with those girls back to the bathroom and met even more people. On my way back I saw my roomie talking with a group of people so I went to talk to them and while we were standing about, the staff came around and told us that we had to go sit at a table. I then went back to the table I was originally at and we all sat there for a bit until the staff kicked us out 👀 Which was not surprising because I heard glasses breaking like every minute.

As we left the pub, this weird dude came up to me and was like “Can I touch your hair.” I paused and looked at my roommate like wtf am I supposed to say to that. I answered kinda without really thinking “Yes” and then he touched my hair ☠️ That has to be a hate crime. At the bus stop a girl walked by me and I thought it was one of the girls that I had met at the pub but it wasn’t ☠️ ☠️Probably why she said hi as if she didn’t know who I was. Funny thing is that about 20 mins later, that girl and a couple more people from that pub came to that stop lol. I think I got back at 11ish? But I didn’t take photos of my hair and makeup so I spent like 30mins doing that. The next day I woke up late for my 8 am lecture and had to run to the building to get there in time. Anyways, you’re probably curious what I wore right? Alright, I geuss I could show you ¬‿¬

I was pretty content content with my makeup and outfit today(~‾⌣‾)~ If you couldn’t tell, I went with and old school gyaru vibe for my outfit and kuro gyaru type makeup which together would give a 90s gal cool vibe. Which I totally nailed. I’m still improving on doing this sort of makeup but it srsly looks good here.

Anyways that’s it for this post. I might do a life update about how I missed the med walk that was organized for today (no code, or make pics sry) if I feel motivated later. I’ll probably do a study stream later on YT as well, so if you gotta study too, we can do it together. Omg, like study buddies ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ That’s all for now.
