sometimes i just feel bombarded with romance, like why is romance such a big part of society, can we not for once?

my love for aesthetics runs so deep, such a vital role the little things play around us; the smell of dewdrops hitting the ground and the sound of my heart breaking are something so miniscule and you won't see me hurting because there's no blood on me.
— there's nothing wrong with someone, you realize, until it's too late.

falling in love is overrated. i want to explore the mysteries of life without being tied to another human.
i am finally reading the secret history and I UNDERSTAND THE OBSESSION WITH HENRY WINTER. also the fact that he is a blatant intj AND is from st. louis missouri JUST LIKE ME is just so entirely satisfying. (i swear i am not a murderer tho…)
“what do you do all day?”
i brood. i sit here and brood about all the things i cannot change, and all the times i chose not to change.
oh to be a morally grey character who gave up on the concept of love and causes chaos in a broken society because they’re angry at everything and everyone
can we talk about how poetic the bible is?
“for the wages of sin is death” -romans 6:23
“even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you” -psalm 139:12
“for in much wisdom is much vexation, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow” -ecclesiastes 2:26
“remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity” -ecclesiastes 11:10
“deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my transgressions; for my groans are many, and my heart is faint” -lamentations 1:22
“i will make it like the mourning for an only son and the end of it like a bitter day” -amos 8:14
“he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away” -revelation 21:4
“and let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price” -revelation 22:17
and SO MANY MORE! i used to think the bible was kind of boring, but it has so much fantastic literature in it. read psalms, ecclesiastes, revelation, honestly any of it, there’s so much good stuff.
do you ever just listen to film scores and act out random scenes in your room? like damn i don’t even act but i really be full on crying and sword fighting here.
