push ups are so funny like i have to do them but am i gonna throw up?? it’s becoming more and more likely
It's been a while without running and many personal posts ... But I'm still here.
My headphones were low on power, so I only logged the first 20 minutes but it should've been about 5k in around 45 minutes. I did more of a mix of running, walking and playing Pokemon Go - still counts as a run, anyway.
I also did Zombie chases again which was fun! I need to work on not running all out and then having to walk to recover, though, but how to increase my speed in a controlled manner 😅.
Afterwards, I did W1 D2 of the 100 push-up challenge I started last Sunday and then ignored all week 😛.
We lost power early on Thursday morning, and still don’t have it restored :( our children are reacting poorly to the change, and so yesterday was pretty much just trying to keep everyone alive and fed off of peanut butter sandwiches. But there was significantly better sleep last night, so I took myself on a long run.
And a pretty good one at that- I’d rather have those splits under 14, but I’ll take it. The weather post tropical storm is beautiful, and the path was reasonably empty. And I just flew :)
Once I got home, I tackled the push up challenge, inspired by @jacqattacq. I’ve been training for push-ups for a while, but it turns out that middle-aged computer programmer mom physique is not optimal for push-ups.
I need to be able to do 14 consecutive full push-ups by nov 9th, which feels both daunting and do-able. Wish me luck!

Finally got a new update up for my Journey to 100 Push-Ups, gonna go with weekly updates moving forward. You'd think I would've gotten this whole thing figured out the first time around, but here we are lol
Forgot to post this yesterday, so here's yesterday's update to my Journey to Being Able to do 100 Push-Ups! It's not much, the main focus at the moment is just trying to get myself back into the rhythm that I had before I ended up taking a break for a week.
