Hua Cheng x Shi Qingxuan (so deranged there's not even a name for it) - Shi Qingxuan trying to comfort/reassure Hua Cheng and Hua Cheng kissing the top of his head and feeling protective

HuaQing (Hua Cheng x Mu Qing) - Hua Cheng is being mean to try and distract him but Mu Qing is like very weak or sick or something and going to get too upset :)

ok just hear me out modern au mq and sqx are besties. they've bonded over being lonely and their respective unrequited-but-actually-requited loves. its post- main conflict vibes where mq and fx are friends now but mq can't handle being treated with kindness thinking he's never gonna get more. sqx and hx are on the outs bc of swd but there's no death and their relationship is repairable. its a weird time and idk just think of mq and sqx going on lil friend dates and doting on each other. mq makes hot going out fits for them. sqx makes mq let loose. they're cute and help each other not feel so lonely.

Platonically:

I think they'd be such good friends in canon :)) or at least, Qingxuan would think that. Mu Qing would be reminded of the Crown Prince, I think, and feel some sense of guilt and duty to preserve Qingxuan's kindness. In fanon, however, they are having a BLAST and I love them

Romantically:

I like it as a fanon thing but, in canon, it wouldn't work. It's got a fun dynamic but I prefer other ones and henceforth have never given them much thought as a couple. They'd work better as friends imo but I do still love em :))
