This is about the war, but the qrts were really all asking what Sasha could teach and say that she wouldn't be able to teach anything.....
Like .... Did they all forget that she was the 1st woman to land the 4T (quad toe loop), 4F (quad flip) and the 4Lz (quad Lutz) in competition???? 3 out of 6 possible quads!!
Say what you will about her artistry (I agree it could use improvement), but saying she has nothing to teach is just plain willful ignorance.
What's 4f like? (since Yuzu's apparently done one in practice)
IM SOOOO NEW TO FIGURE SKATING THAT I DID NOT KNOW THAT YUZU NEVER HAD 4F UNTIL NOW
so i was kinda confused when people wer freakin out about 4F and yuzu
AND NOW IM FREAKING OUT TOO CUZ HE CAN TECHNICALLY LAND ALL THE QUADS?????????????? (wishing for safe 4A)
More positivity 🙌
Sasha became the first woman to land a quad Lutz at worlds and also a quad Lutz in combination
She also gets a record for a jump with the highest goe, her 4lz 3t got 19.48 points and she also became the first woman to land a quad flip at worlds
I have a question tho. She got an edge call for the flip...does it still count?
Also Yuma winning a silver and his reaction 🥺🥺🥺
im glad for trusova that she had a redemption skate. she's such an incredible athlete and powerful jumper.
as for her 4F, im not sure. it wasnt an e call, and it got positive GOE, so maybe it counts. dont quote me on that lol
and yuma!!! im so happy for him. he did amazing, and at his first senior worlds! his reaction was so pure, and i want only good things for him.
the silver medal, though, makes me sad, because i know 100% that should be yuzu's silver medal. ignoring the scores in the free skate because i havent looked at those yet, if yuzu's GOEs werent lowballed during his short program, especially for the 3A and 4T+3T, he would be in second. that doesnt take away my appreciation of yuma's talents and his performances here, but it does impact how i feel about the medals.
I also made a video of all of Shomas 4f! I was surprised that he did it so many times but only once in combination. My next video will be of his 4lo!
“Even if he got an UR call at Autumn Classic, Jun still has a better 4F than Shoma.”
Figure Skating Jumps (Part 2/6): The Flip
The flip jump is a toe jump that takes off from a back inside edge and lands on the back outside edge of the opposite foot. A flip is usually preceded by a forward outside 3 turn or forward inside mohawk. [¹]
