Hi, hello! I was wondering, if you're still taking prompts, if you could do either 10, 24, or 26 with Sterek from the prompt list? Thank you so much!
24. Slow Dancing
-
“Andwe'll leave in a few hours.” Stiles throws another shirt in hisbag. “Cora will stay with her boyfriend for another few days, butshe will be home for Christmas.”
“Good.”His dad says through the phone, Stiles hears munching and rolls hiseyes. He can't wait to throw away all that bacon his dad is eatingwithout his consent. “And Derek will be the only one driving, right?”
Stilesrolls his eyes. How many times does he have to repeat that there wasa dogon the road? What should he have done? Ran over it? No.“Yes,father.” Stiles groans. “Derekwon't let me drive his sweet Camaro. Happy now?”
“Very.”His dad emphasizes, and then goes silent for a moment. “Well,” hefinally says, “so are you planning on driving by Salt Lake City?”
Stilesarches an eyebrow. “Yeah?”
“Andthen West Wendover?”
“That'sthe plan.” Stiles continues, confusedly. They've been doingbasically the same route since – “Ah, no.Dad, we're not stopping at Aunt Lisa's house!”
“Justfor one day!”
“Noteven half a day!” Stiles argues, collapsing on his bed just asDerek opens the door. “She's gonna try to set me up with herneighbor again and then make me eat her chicken pie – you know herchicken pie is disgusting!” Despite the annoyance he smiles asDerek runs a hand through his hair and leans into the touch.
“Shesaid she has something to give you. She's been bugging me about itfor months!”
“Stopanswering her calls!” That's what Stiles does when he doesn't wantto talk to his professor.
“Forfuck's sake, Stiles!” His dad curses, using his disappointed voice.Stiles groans and Derek actually snorts at that. His dad is going towin this one and they both know it. “Just stop at her house, say hiand then keep driving!”
Stilesruns a hand over his face. “Fine.”He relents. “But I want you to know that I hate you.”
His dad snorts. “Yeah, right.”
–
Aunt Lisa is his grandmother's younger sister. She never got married, therefore she doesn't have children or grandchildren of her own tosmother, so she focused on the second best thing – Stiles' dad andStiles.
“She'sawful.”Stiles says as Derek drives. He doesn't think he stopped complainingever since they got into the car, but he has proof – Derek send hima text one night when he was drunk on wolfsbane whiskey, it wasadorable – that Derek loves to hear him talk, so... “Shecomplains all the time, talks about how her own family hates her andshehas five cats.”
“Mrs.Adams has five cats and you like her.” Derek teases, smirking.
“Mrs.Adams gives me cookies and doesn't purposefully fucks up my name.”She lives across the hall from Stiles' apartment and the first timeshe saw Stiles and Derek holding hands she teared up and called themadorable. Mrs. Adams is awesome,Aunt Lisa is not. “Aunt Lisa calls me Styand complains about my mom not giving me an easier name. 'I wouldhave called my kid Mark'.” He imitates, making Derek laugh.
He stares for a moment, still mesmerized about the sound and reachesout to touch his free hand. “I love you.”
Derek sneaks a glance at him, squeezes his hand. “I love you, too.Why the sudden need to say it?”
“Dunno.”Stiles says, sometimes he just feels like it. “Happy almostanniversary?” Two weeks left and Stiles already prepared Derek'sgift – the photo album is safely hidden in his bag, next to theengagement ring he bought. This is going to be the best anniversaryever. Hopefully.
Derek shakes his head, fondly. “I'm still not letting you drive.”
“Spoilsport.”Stiles laughs.
–
AuntLisa used to live in Beacon Hills before Stiles was born. Right afterthey got married, Stiles' parents moved in with her for a few monthswhen his dad became a deputy, so she is not really a mean person –she's just plain annoying.
“Stiles!”She's waiting for them at her front yard and when Stiles gets out of thecar she hugs him tight. Stiles hugs her back – he can actually bepolite – and thinks about how she's finally learned to say hisname. And it only took eighteen years. “Look at this.” She patshis hair. “I liked it better when it was short.” He has torestrain himself from rolling his eyes as Aunt Lisa focus herattention on Derek. “And who is that?”
Stilesfreezes as Derek comes to stand next to him. He doesn't think AuntLisa is homophobic but what if – “I'm Stiles' friend.” Derekanswers and Stiles lets out a relieved sigh. “Derek.” He offershis hand and Aunt Lisa shakes it, eying Derek dubiously.
Great, now she's going to try and set Derekupwith her neighbor.
“Niceto meet you.” She says. “That beard is awful.” She points out, distractedly, and Derek arches his eyebrow, surprised. Stiles grits his teeth not to yell at her. “Now, now.” She turns toStiles, arches an eyebrow. “It's been a long time, huh?” Sheaccuses and Stiles looks down.
“Yeah, sorry.” He mumbles, not sorry at all. “Life has beencomplicated.”
“I'msure.” She clucks her tongue, then turns around. “Life has beencomplicated for me too.” She begins, walking into the house withoutwaiting for them.
Stilesslumps against Derek's shoulder and resists the urge to cry. “Thisis going to be awful.”
Derekpats his back. “We've been through worse.”
–
Theyeat store-bought chocolate cake – thank God – in the kitchen andlisten to Aunt Lisa complain about her life. She listens to them too, even encourages them to talk, and Stiles realizes that she's trulymaking an effort. She must be lonely, he realizes, and actually feelssorry for her. He knows what's like to feel alone and he knows Derekunderstands too, so they talk and they listen and Stiles only fakeshis laughter 50% of the time – which, progress.
“Idon't suppose you'll be staying the night?” Aunt Lisa asks, thoughher voice sounds hopeful.
Stilesshares a look with Derek and then sighs. “I think we can leavetomorrow morning.”
“Oh,great.”She shrieks, genuinely happy, walking around the table to hug Stilesagain. “I'll just take a quick trip to the store to buy some thingsfor dinner.” She says, grabbing her purse from the kitchen counter. She's about to open the door when she stops and turns around. “Ofcourse! How could I forget!” They watch her walk to the living roomand come back a minute later with a box. “I guess this got mixedwith my things when I moved from Beacon Hills.” She smiles. “Iput it in the attic and completely forgot about it. Then one of mystupid cats got lost in there and –” she waves a hand, “anyway, here.” Aunt Lisa deposits the box on the table. “It was yourmother's.”
Stiles'eyes widen as he stares at the box. He thought he had everything thatonce belonged to his mom. The CD's and old books, old letters andpictures. But this – “Really?”
“Yes.”She nods, smiling. “Well, I'll be back in minute.”
“Wait.”Stiles stands up and wraps her in a hug. He never thought he wouldwillingly do it, but this woman just gave him something amazing. Shegave him a part of his mom. There's no better present. “Thank you.”
“Ah,well.” She sniffs as he pulls back. “You're welcome.” She says, patting his cheek and turning around quickly. “See you.”
Stilesswallows and stares at Derek. “My mom's –”
Dereksmiles, takes his hand. “Let's move this to the living room?”
“Yeah,”Stiles can't breathe, the only thing grounding him is Derek's hand inhis, “okay.”
–
Derektouches him the entire time, rubs at his back as Stiles opens thebox, wipes his tears when Stiles finds pictures of his mom when shewas a red headed teenager, hugs him when Stiles finds old letterswritten by his dad.
“Oh.”He gasps, pulling an old cassette tape. “She loved Bon Jovi.” Helaughs. “I remember growing up and dancing to Living on a prayer withher in the kitchen.” Derek laughs, too and squeezes his hand.Stiles smiles at him, caresses the tape fondly. “I miss her.”
Derekkisses his cheek, taking the cassette in his hand. “Here.” Hewalks to the old cassette player Aunt Lisa – not so surprisingly –still has, and putting it on. When 'Always' begins to play, Derekpulls him up, circles Stiles' waist with his hands. “Put your handson my shoulders.” He instructs and Stiles does, the sadness beingreplaced with the strongest feeling of love as they move slowly tothe rhythm.
“Arewe dancing?”
“Yeah.”Derek whispers. “I used to do this with my mom.” Stiles nods, rests his face on Derek's shoulders. They are never going to stopmissing their moms, Stiles knows, but just doing this, creating newmemories together is enough to make it hurt a little less. He really wants to marry this man.
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” Stiles confesses, feels like this is the right moment to say it.
“Me too.” Derek whispers back, easily.
It’s the perfect moment.
–
“Andhere's the bedroom.” Aunt Lisa says, after dinner. They hadspaghetti and when Stiles complimented the food, she smiled and saidshe hated chicken pie and winked at him. “The bed is small but youcan make it work, right?”
Stilesblinks. “I'm – uh, what?”
“Please.”She says, smiling. “You're as obvious as your father was.” Sheturns to Derek then. “No funny business in my house.” Derek nods, solemnly.
Whenshe closes the door behind herself, Stiles turns to Derek and smileswickedly. “Come on, I have to get my revenge on her, somehow.”
AuntLisa might be slightly nicer than Stiles remembers, but you don't sayDerek's beard is awful and gets away with it.
UGGGH when are we going back to the main storyline?? I've had to stop playing because the events are so EXHAUSTING and sometimes it doesn't even load??? Marvel should stop wasting our time with this shit 🙄🙄🙄
Unfortunately, it’s not Marvel, but TinyCo, so you gotta send them feedback about it.
And there’s no word about getting more main storyline added anytime soon. I guess with no updates with it for over a year they really don’t care about releasing new stuff for the core game and just keep on with events.
Hi Ana! I saw you're taking prompts so I was wondering if you could do "quit it or i'll bite" or "don't even think about it" for Sterek for the five word prompt thing? Much appreciated! <3
I mixed both, woo!

“Don'teven think about it.” Derek warns, slapping Scott's hand away.
Scottyelps, gazes at the cake sadly. “But I wanna –” he starts tomove his hand again and snorts when Derek turns to glare at him.
Derekrolls his eyes, finishes frosting the cake and turns to put it in thefridge. “He's not marrying me.” He says. Hopefully, Stiles will.“Can't you see the cake? I still have to propose.”
“Duh.”Scott rolls his eyes, turns to the sink and begins washing the dishes. That's what he's here for, Derek stressed earlier ('Youcan't bake and your writing is shit, I don't want this cake ruined!','Rude!'). “As if he would.”
Derekcollapses on a chair, buries his face in his hands. “I – what ifhe does?”
“Stopthat.” Scott throws water at him. “You just bought a housetogether and Stiles says he loves you every day –”
Thatis true and it warms Derek's heart a little but it does nothing tocalm his nerves. It's a huge commitment and – what if the proposalisn't good enough? Derek is not the most romantic person and althoughStiles isn't a romantic person himself, he still brings flowersevery other day, and he texts Derek memes all the time and – and hedeserves everything.“Yeah, but –”
“Iwasn't finished!” Scott yells, dropping the dishes and turning tostare at Derek. “You spent the entire day baking his favorite cake, you have rose petals all over your bed and you wrote a speech!”Derek opens his mouth to ask how Scott knows about the speech butcloses it quickly when Scott shushes him. “It's obvious you'd havea speech.” He points out. “What I'm trying to say is – Stileswill say yes no matter what.”
“I'malways nice.” Scott protests, turning to look at his phone when itsignals a new text. “Ah, Allison said he's coming home!”
Derekjumps, the things aren't ready yet! The dishes are still dirty, he'sforgotten to light the candles and – “Go, go.” Scott is stillhere. He beginspushing Scott towards the door at the same time he takes a look athimself and realizes his pants are dirty with chocolate.
Thisis going to be worst proposal ever.
–
Stiles parks the car just as Derek is finishing putting a clean shirt on.He runs downstairs, trips over a stray shoe and curses himself fornot remembering to clean the house. He opens the fridge, takes thecake out and places it on top of the table. Yeah, okay, he checks thecandles, maybe this will actually work. When Stiles walks in thehouse, yelling a 'I'm home' Derek realizes he forgot the rings.
–
“Don't move!” Derek yells, running to the living room.
Stiles takes in Derek's clothes, looks around at the candles andarches an eyebrow. “What.”
“I forgot something.” He starts walking backwards towards thestairs. “But you're not allowed to move.”
“Ever?” Stiles smirks.
Derek huffs. And he seriously wants to marry this asshole. “Shutup.” He says. “I'll be right back.”
“Fine.” Stiles concedes. “Am I at least allowed to take myshoes off?”
“Yes, whatever, just – don't go in the kitchen.” He runs totheir bedroom as quickly as possible, grabs the ring from his nightstand and when he comes back, Stilesis exactly where he left him. “Thank you.” He sighs, smiling whenStiles shrugs like it's nothing, like he'd do whatever Derek asks himto without questioning.
Derek really loves him, and that's when he realizes that is the onlyimportant thing. Stiles loves him, Derek loves Stiles. It's all heneeds. “Will you marry me?” He blurts out, realizes he actuallydoesn't care how it's done, as long as Stiles is the one he's asking.
“I knew it.” Stiles smiles brightly, the same way he did whenDerek asked him out the first time, and then when they decided tomove in together. “You were preparing something in the kitchen, weren't you?”
“Yeah.” Derek admits, rests his hands on Stiles' waist as Stilescircles Derek's neck with his. “You just ruined it.”
“Me?” Stiles laughs. “How?”
“By being you.” Derek whispers. “I love you.”
Stiles flicks Derek's ear fondly. “I love you too.” He says backeasily, like he did this morning and all the previous mornings forthe past four years. “And I will marry you. You didn’t even have to ask.”
Derek kisses him, then, wonders how could he have doubted Stileswould say yes, his love is clear in his eyes and in his kisses, inthe life they built together.

Turns out the cake wasn't necessary, but they have fun eating it inbed a couple of hours later.
I've recruited almost everyone I need for Hawkeye (I'm working on Ultron now) but I'm only at 59 arrows and i've already gotten part of the 40 available in this episode, so it looks like I won't have 100 by the end. Is it even worth it to keep going? Would I still be able to get Clint?? I'm really only doing this event for Hawkeye because bae is my fave but if I'm not gonna be able to get him then I'll just save my energy for the next event. They said he'll be available in the storyline anyway.
Sadly if you’re short on arrows then the only way you can get him is by sharding him.
I haven't seen you on my feed in a while and I'm not sure if that's just because we're on different time zones but I miss seeing your posts! I hope you're doing okay, and that you are finding something to smile about everyday. You are loved! ❤️
this is soooo nice i wish these asks were dated so i knew when they arrived. i haven’t been on in years but i came back to see if people were still here and they are! miss you and thank you for sharing the love
Hi! I saw you reblogged a photo of outdoor pods with tables/chairs inside and I’m not sure you know but if not it’s from a place called Coppa Club in London, right by the River Thames. I’m not entirely sure if this is useful or interesting to you but I just thought it’d be pretty cool to know where exactly the photo is from. (Also I’ve been there and it’s so so pretty at night, plus their food is A++ so if you have a chance to visit, please do so!) Have a nice day! :)
(Re: this)
Awesome, thank you! I could tell it was in London (for obvious reasons), but beyond that had no idea. Making a note for whenever I next get to go to London! (And for any other interested followers.)
Ana! Oh my gosh oh my gosh thank you so so SO MUCH for filling in my prompt. I saw the notification a couple days ago but I haven't gotten around to reading it until today and I am so glad I did because I was having a truly shite day and your fic cheered me up so much. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️
you’re welcome darling, i’m happy it helped make your day a little better. thanks for sending the prompt! :***
ANA! Omg I loved your prompt fill! 😭😭 I especially loved the fact that Derek just blurted out his proposal instead of saying his speech because that is just SO Derek, y'know? Blinded by Stiles's smile that he just forgets where he is but never forgets his love for his idiot. THANK YOU SO MUCH for filling my prompt! ❤️❤️❤️
you’re welcome, baby. thank you for sending it to me! it was very fun to write it :**
