Since the name Gonggong comes from Chinese origins, I tried to make an outfit similar to a Hanfu (traditional Chinese garment dating back more than three millennia)

I did a weird thing with your designs where I took the characters and made my friend do a random game of ''Girl or guy'' She guessed them on the basis of if they had chests or not, and she managed to get it ALL right, EXCEPT for the side art of Callisto and Ganymede So is this a sign that the best way to see if a celestial design of yours is a girl or just a really pretty boy is if they have chests

Hahaha! Well as of now, pretty much, but there will be exceptions. For example:

Haumea has a flat chest as seen above. I figured I hadn't drawn a female character with a flat chest yet!

Then we have Charon...

Granted, he only looks like he's got cleavage. I honestly got a lot of inspiration from JoJo characters (Part 5 in particular, you'll see what I mean LOL)! At the time, I was high on JoJo so he was (un)fortunately my main casualty. (I need to get back to my binge... I completely forgot about it!)

Though honestly I've been thinking of designing future characters. Reading a bit into the deity the dwarf planet Quaoar was named after, it was said the deity used masculine pronouns but is known to be genderless.

I'll read more into it, but I think I will go by that for the gijinka in the future! I just need to make sure I don't misrepresent anyone, which is why I had been hesitant to fully confirm characters outside of the male/female binary. But if nb/trans people can relate to my characters, then by all means you can headcanon them as such! 🥰
