I mostly write fanfiction (Eddsworld, Danganronpa, MCYT, Reverse: 1999, and SolarBalls). Currently working on a series (4-5 books in total, hopefully). I sometimes listen to music while writing over 6k songs in the liked playlist

Passion Project

So, this is a weird request/post. Normally, I would never dream of asking anybody for help, let alone strangers, but desperate times call for desperate measures (I guess).

I'm a fanfic writer (obviously) and as a fanfic writer, I've always felt like there was more I could do besides writing fanfiction...

A few days ago, I had something others would call an 'epiphany'.

I got an idea to make... a video game.

Not just any video game, oh no... a fan game.

I've been a fan of a video game franchise called Five Nights at Freddy's ever since it came out.

No doubt you've probably heard about it...

Well, I want to create a fan game based on Five Nights at Freddy's (duh).

But I have NO IDEA how to code or model anything. I don't have a college degree, I only have a high school diploma...

And diving into coding or graphic design straight away would be the equivalent to trying to drive while blindfolded, so instead of doing that...

I'm writing a book first.

As a fanfic writer, writing is pretty much all I know... and I've been meaning to dabble into psychological horror fiction for a long time, so it's really a win-win situation.

I'm only writing this post to get anyone, literally anyone interested in this little passion project of mine.

So, if you've read this far into the post, allow me to tell you a bit more...

A group of teenagers decide to explore an abandoned Freddy Fazbear theme park. They decide to meet up around midnight at the front entrance. The youngest, Kacey Ayers, is always late to group hangouts, and what do you know, they're late again. Arriving at the theme park, Kasey finds themself alone. Figuring the others must've started exploring without them, they climb over the fence and walk further into the theme park... however, unbeknownst to them, dangers lurk from within the shadows. Will Kasey survive to see the morning sun? Hm... who knows?

Anyway, I already have the character names written down...

And here's the list of animatronics that will be making an appearance...

Keep in mind that these are different versions of the animatronics you may or may not know...

I am open to suggestions on characters to add or any plot devices that'll make the story unique in its own right.

Other than that, this is all I have. I'll sketch out a map of the park layout at a later date.

Did you know that we actually have a thing called Fannish Next of Kin?

A fannish next-of-kin agreement allows the Archive of Our Own (AO3) to transfer ownership of your account to your designated fannish next-of-kin in the event of your death or permanent incapacitation. This allows that person to manage your account and fanworks for you after your death. The agreement must be set up ahead of time, and you must choose a specific individual who you want to be your fannish next-of-kin. Both you and your fannish next-of-kin must be registered users of AO3.
