Polyship week day Day 3- Sharing clothes Quartet Night x Reader

Back on the x reader shit with @polyshipweek ! I'll be doing posts about x reader ships that involve 2 or more characters from various fandoms under the polyamory flag!

In this universe, Quartet Night are all dating each other as well as the gender-neutral!reader. Camus and Ranmaru are still arguing as always but they kiss and make up afterwards.

“You hooligan rocker! I know it was you that stole my favourite necklace!” Camus argued, glaring daggers at Ranmaru. Ranmaru looked up from his morning coffee with bags under his eyes and a scowl deep enough to cut right back. “Huh? What necklace?” He asked with his usual gravelly voice.

“The white gold one! I know you had your stupid mismatched eyes on it the other day!” “Who’re you calling stupid, ya stupid pretty boy?!” “Ran-Ran, Cam-Cam, babes, there’s no need to fight so early! You’ll wake the neighbours!” Reiji said, trying to diffuse the situation. “Shut it, lazy!” The two argued back. Reiji held his hands up in defence. “It’s not just you that’s lost something, ya know! Someone stole my favourite band shirt!” Ranmaru complained before taking another sip from his Ramones mug. “Which one?” Reiji asked with a head tilt.

“My old Sex-Pistols shirt. The one with Johnny Rotten’s quote to the Hall of Fame on it in red ink.”

Reiji’s eyebrows knitted together contemplatively. “Weird. My favourite white jeans have also gone missing.” Reiji said as he rubbed his chin. For one thing to go missing in the house, that made sense. Stuff can come and go randomly. But for three favourite items to go missing all at once was unusual. Ai walked in with a yawn, stretching his 5 foot 10 frame. “Ai-Ai, have you had anything go missing too?” Reiji asked. Ai blinked between his three boyfriends. “You know, I actually have. A pair of my socks has gone missing. You know the pair Nanami gave me for Christmas last year with the little cartoon robots on.”

The band looked between themselves. “Alright, who’s not fessing up?” Reiji crossed his arms. All eyes momentarily looked at Ranmaru. His cheeks burnt pink from embarrassment. “Don’t look at me! I’m a punk, not a thief!” He protested.

As he spoke, you came out from the shared bedroom. White jeans, a Sex-Pistols top, white gold necklace and cartoon robot socks peaking from your trainers.

“Sorry, I have to run! I’m late to meet with Nanami! Love you!” You called as you hurried out the front doquarteor.

The four of them looked from the door you left out to each other with a sigh.

Of course you had nicked their things.

Hi Syd! Of course I don’t mind! I’m super happy to be writing some more for utapri! Usually I limit headcanon requests to 3 characters, but I’ll make an exception here because I couldn’t possibly split up the lovely men of Quartet Night 💖 Enjoy!

First of all, being Quartet Night's composer would be hard work. These guys are pro's, but they were brough together by Shining, not by friendship. As their composer, your job is not only to create music for them, but also to keep them together a little.

There is but one way to unite them as one front: whenever someone is threatening you or flirting with you. Or just getting too close to you, for that matter. You are THEIR composer, and everyone else needs to stay away from you. If anyone treats you wrong, they've got 4 men stepping in to tell them to back off, sometimes politely, sometimes not so much.

Every Quartet Night member has a weak spot for you. You create the most beautiful songs for them based off their preferences and personalities, much better than any composer-for-hire they've ever worked with. Because of this, they're all nice to you in their own, unique, way.

Camus

You're one of the few people Camus shares his sweets with. Whenever possible, he asks you to join him for his afternoon tea. If a new song needs to be written, or if he needs a woman's advice on a job, he likes to take these opportunities to ask you. Otherwise, teatime will just consist of a pleasant chat or a comfortable silence.

You're also the only one he trusts with his dog, Alexander. He'll ask you to watch him if he's out for a long job and if you want to, you're allowed to walk with him whenever you want. Alexander is super attached to you as well, almost as much as his owner is.

Camus is the type to have long conversations with you about the song you composed before he starts writing the lyrics. What were you feeling when you wrote the piece? What were you thinking about? Did you have a theme in mind already? He wants to bring your message across to his fans as best he can.

Reiji

Reiji is constantly showering you in compliments. It can be about your skill, about your appearance, about your professionality,… it doesn't matter, Reiji will find something and he doesn't let a single day pass without complimenting you.

Hugs. Hugs everywhere. Reiji is a very affectionate person, and he will often hug you as a greeting, when he's happy, when you're sad or tired... basically, at any excuse he can find. If you're shorter than him or around his height, he also likes to stand behind you and rest his head on top of your head or shoulders.

Reiji is your absolute hype man. Whenever you're having trouble creating or finishing a piece, or where you're feeling demotivated, he will be there to cheer you up, cheer you on or even to brainstorm a little with you. When you finish a piece, he's already praising it after the first few notes.

Ranmaru

Ranmaru is an amazing cook, and he knows it. That's why whenever you're near him around any time you need to eat, and he has the energy, he will offer to cook for you, on the condition that you eat together with him. His rice omelet is to die for.

He is especially grateful that you're his composer. Most composer in their branche of the industry don't know how to write a good rock song. Either they sound like some big rock hit, or there's no soul in them at all. Because you know him and his style so well, you deliver the best rock songs with all his emotions in them.

Though he's no good at actually helping you compose things, whenever he notices you're having a block or when you just can't get something written, he will drag you out of your room and distract you. No use forcing things when it isn't working right? He'll help you get some fresh air and some laughs, so that hopefully after that, with a different mindset, you'll be able to get something done.

Ai is a very perceptive man, and it shows. He's constantly paying attention to the little things about you and because of that, he often helps you before you can even ask anyone for help. You're about to say you're cold? Ai's jacket is already on your shoulders. Low on energy? Ai is already holding out a healthy snack to you. You need a nap? He'll sit down next to you so you can use his shoulder as a pillow.

If you're looking for objective feedback on your pieces, Ai is the best person to go to. The other members of the band love your music unconditionally, and will excuse any parts that aren't perfect. Ai is the same, but if you ask him for any points to improve on, he'll analyze ever part of the piece and give you some good feedback. He doesn't sugarcoat his opinion, but he makes sure to not hurt your feelings either.

Ai actively avoids conflict with the other members of the band when you're around. He'll ignore things they say or do that he'd usually comment on, and even help you and Reiji calm Ranmaru and Camus down if needed. They may not always get along great, but he doesn't want you to get caught up in their arguments. With his logical arguments and calm mind, the situation usually calms down pretty fast.

Alright, so here, I’m going to leave the gender undefined, since I don't really see him as someone who will really act that differently towards his s/o either way. Still, either way, we hope these are to your liking!

First off, he's going to be rather confused.

Love is something he's heard of, but it's not really something he was expecting to experience.

(And he also overheats every time he really thinks about it.)

Still, while he may not quite understand exactly what his feelings are, he'll be quite open with you.

Ai will tell you that he wants to spend more time with you and that he wants to learn more about you.

(With absolutely no shame, like at all.)

It's going to be the others that actually tell him that he likes you.

(They just tell him, because they're tired of watching him knowingly pine for you.)

After thinking through what the others say, he'll probably overheat, but will come to the same conclusion.

Afterwards, he'll probably be more attentive to certain things, and will try to figure out whether you like him or not.

To decide that, he'll do quite a bit of research on how people act when they have a crush on another person.

After said extensive research, he'll watch for said signs.

Which often include him watching your heart rate, eyes and just generally how you act around him.

If he does see you acting differently around him, he won't hesitate to ask you about it.

"I see that your heartrate is higher than usual, why is that?"

Also, meet parental Ai!

He's going to be rather critical of you.

This is because he wants you to be at your best, and one of his ways of trying to help you.

This also means scolding you if he thinks you did something unnecessarily risky or idiotic.

While said scolding is usually delivered with a straight face, you can still tell that he does it out of worry for you.

Still, when you do good, he'll also communicate that.

Occasionally, when he does this, he'll say so with a small, but genuine smile.

He'll often invite you to basically hang out with him, but he won't officially ask you out on a date until he's sure you like him back.

When you are just hanging out, it's usually stuff like going out for a walk, if it's not raining, or gaming.

When it comes down to it, you'll likely be the one to start the relationship.

As Ai is someone who has a preference for being confessed to rather doing the confessing himself.

However, if you don't, Ai will.

Likely, it'll be somewhere where others aren't really around.

Because he's probably read online that it's better if you do it somewhere special, he'll probably do it during something like a festival or something to that extent.

The whole time, his heart will most definitely be pounding, and you might even catch him stutter a few times.

The actual confession will be rather to the point, but also very... sweet.

It's actually really adorable.

Very much your turn to be blushing and stuttering.

From there, dates will be whenever he has time.

ranmaru x reader crack fic

notes: i forgot why i wrote this but i did. he’s such a rocker

it’s a normal day at the kurosaki apartment. ranmaru is taking a cat nap (because he likes cats, get it?) and you are sitting on the couch with him, watching TV. suddenly, you feel your tummy growl with craving, so you get up and head into the kitchen. you didn’t wanna eat something too heavy because ranmaru would want to eat dinner together later. so, you grabbed a banana and plopped back down on the couch. right as you break the peel, ranmaru’s eyes shoot open and stare at the contents in your hand. in his powerful rocker voice, he shouts “BANANA IS PERFECT!” before you can even take a bite of the fruit, it’s gone. he swallowed it whole.

“ranmaru?? what the fuck was that?” you cry, the hunger in your belly growing stronger now.

“a true rocker never denies his heart.” he preaches.

“so you had to steal my banana? you were just asleep 30 seconds ago!”

“banana is perfect!”

well, there was no winning that one. you sigh, getting back up from the couch to check the fridge. the chill from the appliance causes you to shudder, wrapping your arms around yourself.

ranmaru appears behind you, making you jump.

“if you’re cold, you gotta eat meat. it’ll warm you up from the inside out.” he whispers.

“okay so let’s go get a steak.” you deadpan, tired of his shit already.

“that’s a true rocker attitude right there!” he yells, before grabbing your arm and pulling out the door. you both hop on his bike and ride to the nearest steakhouse.

“oi, table for two rockers!” he grins at the host. the host sighs, as he deals with this every day, and leads you to a table.

“can i get some drinks started for you?” the host asks.

“two waters, i’m in debt from my family business that was torn apart by the families whose heirs are now my kouhai.” ranmaru says.

the host walks away.

“so, ran, what do you wanna do after this?” you attempt to make small talk.

“i gotta slap some bass once a day, even when i’m super busy, or else i don’t feel right.” he explains.

“okay.” that’s enough for now, you decide.

the host returns with your waters and ranmaru puts in an order for the biggest, most expensive steak on the menu. isn’t he in debt? how does he afford so much meat? you shrug it off, that was a question for another day.

once your steak arrives, you both dig in. ranmaru chews loudly, smacking his lips and moaning after each bite. good thing you were in the back of the restaurant.

the steak is gone in record time, and you’re finally satiated.

the host comes back to ask about dessert.

“hah! like hell i’d eat dessert, then i’d be just like that sweet-toothed aristocrat!” ranmaru crosses his arms and looks away dramatically.

“okay. i’ll be back with your check, then.” the host scurries away.

not even a minute later, he returns with the bill of $69 exactly. nice.

ranmaru chuckles and tips in cash as to not disturb the balance.

“alright, let’s rock and roll!” your rocker boyfriend yells, letting the whole restaurant know he’s a true rocker.

you both ride back home on his bike, but on the way, he finds a cat. and then another. and another. somehow, they all follow you back to his apartment.

ranmaru goes back to the couch and you sit with him, as he pulls out his bass. he starts slapping away, completely ignoring you.

“you’re such a rocker.” you fawn over him.

“heh, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet! i’ll show you what rock is all about!”

the apartment goes pitch black. one spotlight, wherever it came from, shines on your rocker boyfriend. his outfit is his usual t shirt and jeans, but now he has a leather jacket over it. he’s such a rocker.

heavy guitars and drums start booming through the room, with his bass along with it.

he points at you and yells, “rock is my soul, my reason for living. i’ll show you how a real rocker tears it up!” you wished that he would tear you up.

ranmaru starts singing “not bad”, and you headbang along to it. once he finishes, the lights go back to normal, and lays next to you on the couch, putting his feet up on his table, shoes on and everything. he’s such a rocker. you cuddle up on him, and his cats follow suit, and you all fall asleep together.

Christmas Date with Ranmaru

Ranmaru tends to consider asking someone out as something not so badass, but that is probably just because deep down he can be a little shy himself. Not that he would admit that of course. A few days before Christmas Ranmaru swings by, looking a little troubled. He is acting nonchalant though, trying to look like he had no worry in the world. He finally got around to asking you out for Christmas despite it being a little cliché for his liking, he had to admit he would really like to spend that day together with you.

On the day he picks you up to see a Christmas movie, one that he had deemed cool enough for his standards naturally, but halfway through the movie it did start to get a bit romantic. The cool dude he is would never admit it, but he actually quite enjoyed it. He even put his arm around your shoulders! If you would comment on it, he would puff out his chest and defend why it is a totally cool thing of a guy to do.

Once the movie is done the two of you take a slow stroll through a nearby snowy park, which was now merrily decorated with Christmas lights and other happy decorations all over the place. You could swear you saw Ranmaru's cheeks dust in pink, and not from the snow, before he quickly grabbed hold of your hand to hold inside his pocket. Perhaps this man would be better identified as closet romantic.

After a little while the two of you take a seat on a cute little secluded bench in the park, when a cat comes up to rub its cheek into Ranmaru's leg. Cats seemed to naturally take this liking to him, following him around happily. This cat however seemed particularly persistent, mewling dramatically as it walked off, before returning again for more leg rubs.

At first this was cute, and you were already used to Ranmaru having this kind of effect on cats before, but this cat was really quite loud and a little bothersome. It really wanted all attention, but would just straight up leave right afterwards, just to return again. You figured, maybe it was trying to show you something? The two of you followed the cat through some bushes, and to your utter surprise, she led you straight to a litter of tiny kittens! As soon as they sensed their mother they began mewling loudly for her attention, hungry as ever.

Ranmaru's eyes looked as soft as his heart was at that moment, and a mere look between the two of you was required to determine that these cats were going to come home with you. It was not only Christmas day, but also just far too cold for the kittens outside, even if they were decently shaded from the snow and freezing gusts of wind. These kitties deserved a warm and loving home, there you would make sure to check if these cats might have an owner missing them, since they shouldn't be separated on a day such as Christmas. <3
