nyc dyke march 2026
Relapsing on nicotine after almost 3 years was my personal holiday treat this year so y'all get to enjoy some smoking punk dyke pics but rest assured that these butch lungs have plans some 60 years down the line so I'm quitting with the New Year... or whenever my little tobacco pouch runs empty, whichever comes first.
Love the aesthetic of a smoking punk dyke but it ain't worth it for me.
there's something so fun and zesty about calling myself "failboy butch" like yeah, i'm that dorky type, i'm the "trying to make it big in Staten Island-looking" kind of butch with all the failure-of-a-man tattoos and I DO think they're cool but if you don't then that's okay
I'm not "cool", i'm quite cringe, in fact and I relish in that I'm pathetic without trying, I'm too real and also too awkward to make that seem mysterious I look like the kind of guy to never make it out of his hometown and have a failed career as a DJ but I'm a dyke Deeply unserious, Jesse Pinkman if he was a butch
idk, i just think its a fun silly thing to call myself
i don't do fashion everything i wear has some eldritch kind of meaning to me OR it is to be considered the butch dyke equivalent of a peacock's plumage
the back patch on my jacket was sown onto it by my ex each of my tattoos has some stupid in-depth meaning i could tell you about for 20 minutes while you decide if i'm still fuckable despite the uncalled-and-unasked-for infodump
one pin on my jacket was a gift from a good friend, one of my best friends, who got the pin as a gift from another friend and gave it to me cause its a furry pin and they're really not that
another pin on my jacket ive had for over a decade, its a limited run pre-order bonus for a shitty tabletop roleplaying game that is much more popular in its 5th edition than it was back then and that i do not even play these days
my t-shirt is a band shirt, its of a band i've seen play ONCE and that was the first and only time they played a show in Europe, i know the band's singer personally and they dedicated a song to me at the show i saw them play... this is my one and only folk punk bragging rights
my bandana is a misprint from a leftist queer collective that i like, the blood on it is real and it is mine
my hat has pins and patches on it too, and one of them is by a band that i have never seen play live but i have one of their lyrics tattooed on my shoulder in my ex partner's handwriting
my intention was never being cool, or maybe it was but that was when i was like 16, now my intention is just to wear as many shitty little statement pieces as i can and to drape my body in as much comfy-cozy swag as is humanly possible
in between the recurring cycles of self hatred i find days where i almost cannot help but tear up looking at myself in the mirror
this butch dyke self this fat and hairy body the things that i spent so long hating that i have grown to love the rolls and all this hair my hairy pits and chunky thighs my upper pubic area
and i think of the years that i spent hating me i think of how i was a child and i looked at myself and saw what all my bullies saw and even years thereafter i could not help but cringe at this misshapen thing at all grotesque and what they called so gross
but i grew up and i grew old and i did all this therapy and i met ones who look like me and who i learned to love and i met ones who love me how i look
and now i look at all this mess at all this hair at all this rolling, folds of flesh at all the ways that i am shaped unlike the female beauty standard and yet divine like goddesses of old i gaze upon my blossomed chest at what the hormones did at one boob larger than the other at my thick thighs, my facial stubble
and i see womanhood in ways that i never did think that i would one day there behold when i was young and could not yet imagine to live and one day to be old to now remember all the worst things i'd been told to recognize that they were lies and i am dyke-shape as times flies am aging, growing reaping, sowing am perfect in the way i'm going am imperfect and that's okay and care not what the cruel say
and i've found self love everyday
I'm "woman-adjacent" because there's no fucking space on the barricades, bestie.
being a fat transman in a town of uneducated wierdly and creepily transphobic passive aggressive assholes is sooo scary brrrrrrr. "awww you look so huggable!!!!!!!!" GET AWAY FROM ME
