Please please please send in asks on how to find community in our current state. I know it’s so essential to making it through this, but as minors, especially to those of us who can’t drive, it’s hard to do. How do we find those spaces? If they don’t exist, is there an easy way to create them? How can we discover that community?

Today I had an interview with some youth help thing that’ll help me down the line get a job and volunteer positions etc. and they asked my pronouns, now I answered honestly because I live in a progressive town where’s it’s pretty safe to do so, so i answered he/they/it and neopronouns like i normally do. But half way into neopronouns my voice suddenly died and I remembered how many times at doctors appointments they put me down as ‘he/they’ but never it or neopronouns.

And suddenly I felt insecure. Like nothing was right about my answer, like I failed a quiz.

The person on the line was like “hey/they then?” And all I answered was yes.

And I know people aren’t required to use it or neopronouns for me. In fact most people probably don’t even know about neopronouns. But I just thought if I died, only half of me will ever be known.

I’ll live an entire life as only half of myself. Half my names, half my pronouns, half my body and mind.

And in a moment I felt like an apple with a worm in it.

Finally making a pinned introduction! Here’s some things about me to introduce you to my blog.

Hello!!!!! I’m The Mad Hatter! You can just call me Hatter, Cami and Dee are also very much accepted! I don’t post about it much, but I’m fictionkin! I’d love to see my fellow Mad Hatters!

I mainly just post about whatever and my blog doesn’t have a particular theme or topic. Sometimes I’ll post about media I like, sometimes I’ll post pictures, sometimes I’ll just rant about something, etc. This is my little corner of the internet to have fun and I will do just that!

Some warnings for my blog: I use a typing quirk, one that can be very difficult to read and is NOT screenreader friendly. I will always provide a translation though! I’m diagnosed with ADHD and autism, and am pro self-dx! I may word things weirdly or get a little too passionate about something. I am very open for DMs and asks and encourage them! However I will very very rarely if ever make the first move in DMs, so I apologize for that.

Speaking of DNI, I don’t have one in particular. I block very freely, and am the type to simply block and move on. I will say that I do not appreciate proshippers interacting with my posts in any way. And for everyone’s sake, if you have a problem with me or anything I post, just block me and move on with your life.

As for queerness, I am bisexual and varietum, meaning I experience attraction towards objects, fictional characters, concepts, actual humans, and otherkin folk. My objectum attraction is mostly towards older computers and tvs, butcher knives, and rotary phones. And I experience conceptum attraction towards the concept of cannibalism. I’m also a nonbinary gender hoarder with currently over 800 genders. I also collects labels and flags, which I have currently over 900 of. I use any pronouns EXCEPT HE/HIM! I don’t like masc terms. She/Her, They/Them, It/Its, and other neopronouns and xenopronouns are welcomed! Update: I’m also quoisexual and possibly aro-spec, I have a weird relationship with romantic attraction lol

For my last tidbits of information, I’m a hyper-sharing yumeshipper and love seeing people with the same F/Os! My current F/Os are Sebastian Solace(<3), Bob Velseb(<3), Gamzee Makara(<>), and Marvus Xoloto(<3 and <>). My greatest accomplishment is that I watched the entire MLP franchise, from 1986 to 2024! I’m currently watching the Precure franchise!

kind of just stands there in the door way, staring, mouth agape for a second or two

there will be a conversation later, he's not thrilled because he had big plans for his kid and this isn't quite how he saw her life going but he's not upset/angry

just a little taken by surprise
