I had an idea for a new Mother's Day card, around the idea of "two moms are better than one." This morning I worked up a sketch.

My new is Alisa and I am a mom to a wonderful 14 month old, nicknamed Danny.

I have recently become a stay-at-home-mom after working for the last 10 years while dealing with a lupus diagnosis. After a year of struggling to try and juggle motherhood, working, and my health, I decided to step away from work and focus on myself and my family.

This blog will be a place to discuss the day to day obstacles of having a chronic illness while also parenting. My goal is to help other chronic ill, queer, mothers feel a little less alone.
