Crystals (black tourmaline, obsidian, selenite, smokey quartz, amethyst)

Keys

Spells like spell jars, spell bags, enchanted charms and talismans (for example if you want Hekate to look after them or to store them on her altar, or even offer it to her)

Feathers

Candles

Incense (lavender, mugwort, rosemary)

Bay leaves

Snake shed

Devotional acts Hekate likes in my experience:

Dedicating jewellery you wear to her

Doing spell work with her

Working with her on protection matters (as she is a household protector goddess)

Learning about topics you're interested in (she definitely resonates with self-taught learning and also "unconventional" paths of learning aka not traditional schooling which you'd find in the domains of other gods)

Shadow work

Working on divination skills

Working on trusting yourself

Researching her and her history

Regarding her in times of transition or when you're at a "crossroads"

Writing and reciting hymns

Also reciting existing hymns (such as Orphic Hymn to Hekate)

Being there for others when they are experiencing a crossroads or transition

Honouring your transitions and changes in your life

Learning about her historical context (both in ancient greek religion and beyond!)

Hekate Propolos, I am humble before your guidance. In the face of the moon, I await your howls.

ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Quinton (they/he). I'm a Timorese-Australian 23-year-old queer non-binary hellenic polytheist, kemeticist, witch, and angel worker of almost seven years. This is my main blog which is very eclectic in content from my fleeting interests to my forever ones. I have some original content and a lot of reblogs.

My spiritual focuses right now include healing, spiritwork, realmwalking (or hedge witchcraft), divination and channelling, and an exploration of trance possession.

I would describe my practice as ecstatic and mystical as it uplifts direct and personal experiences with the divine as well as academically-inclined with my commitment to self-led study and formal study programs that enhance my knowledge and skills.

I'm also an author of three novels and two anthologies. One day I'd like to publish oracle decks, deity devotionals, and prayer books!

MY CONSTELLATION OF DEVOTION

Hekate is my patron! I have been oathsworn to her for two years and I'm training to be a priest of hers with Mt Nysa Mystery School. I run a devotional community for her called the Sanctuary of the Crossroads. My career as a counsellor is devoted to her.

The Lampades nymphs are also a signficant part of my cultus for Hekate. My research on mystery religion and establishing a new mystery tradition is dedicated to them.

I am devoted to Serapis, Hermes, and Bast!

My healing work as a whole is dedicated to Archangel Raphael.

I also venerate Archangel Haniel, Archangel Michael, Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Uriel.
