Hello! My name is Quinton (they/he). I'm a Timorese-Australian 23-year-old queer non-binary hellenic polytheist, kemeticist, witch, and angel worker of seven years.

This is my main blog which is very eclectic in content from my fleeting interests to my forever ones. I have some original content and a lot of reblogs.

I would describe my practice as ecstatic and mystical, as it uplifts direct and personal experiences with the divine, as well as academically-inclined with my commitment to self-led study and formal study programs that build my skills and knowledge!

I am an author, speaker, anthology curator, educator, event manager, and counsellor-in-training.

MY CONSTELLATION OF DEVOTION

Hermes is who this blog is named after and he was my first devotion as a hellenic polytheist. He was with me during my undergraduate comms degree, my coming of age, my introduction to my other deities, and accompanies me in my messenger work.

Hekate is my patron and soul mother! I have been her oathsworn devotee since February 2024 and was consecrated as a Hiereus of Hekate Propolos Enodia at Mt Nysa Mystery School in March 2026.

Serapis is who I dedicate my journey as a Seer to. I consider him a god of learning, light, healing, oracles, the underworld, sovereignty, and fate. He is god who represents the bridge between ancient greek and egyptian religion.

I work with Archangels too! Mainly, Archangel Haniel, Archangel Raphael, Archangel Michael, Archangel Gabriel, and Archangel Uriel. This is the blog where I post about angel work.

Bast is a beloved goddess in my life. My dedicated blog to Bast is @the-ointment-jar where I post about my kemetic journey.

A MESSAGE FOR HERMES

Great Hermes, giver of good things, patron of scholars and messengers, son of Zeus and Maia, grand and golden winged deity — I, as your humble devotee, thank you, always, for the sense of 'home' that this blog dedicated to you brings me. Praise to you, Lord Hermes!

Here are some things I keep in mind when I find it hard to know what is imagination vs what is 'real' in a vision, visualisation, meditation, or astral journey. I find it a lot easier to accept what is coming through for others, but not so much for myself. I also just think that the more you do it, the more you'll realise how much you can pick up intuitively.

Unless your visions are making you paranoid or causing you to take dangerous actions, there is minimal harm in finding meaning in what you see whether or not you know it's imagination

Imagination is one layer of this sort of message receiving. It is a vehicle for messages to be communicated, not an enemy. Such as how some people are very receptive to songs and may hear songs as a way of receiving - the songs are a vehicle rather than random

Write down your visions after they happen. Don't think about interpreting them until you come back to them later. Aka separate the perceiving of visions vs the interpretation of visions. Then you can notice patterns, symbolism etc.

I do tend to ask myself "is there a reason I would just start thinking of this?" or - does it feel like it's coming out of nowhere? Then it might be something

Sometimes, the imagery isn't as important as the "message". The feeling, the meaning, the interpretation, the connection. So sometimes you can put the visual aside if the message is clear, even of the imagery isn't

Not all visuals will be precise or meaningful even if your visual ability is strong. It may be fragmented, it may be abstract. That is normal as well

Devotional Acts - Archangel Michael

As requested by anon, I will be starting a series for Angelic Devotional Acts--actions you can complete as offerings for the archangels, instead of offering material items.

Archangel Michael is the Prince of Heaven and Angel of Protection. He repels negative energy, turns fear into courage, and helps with cutting negative ties.

Which archangel should I do next?

PROTECTION OIL 🌿✨

This morning I crafted up some protection oil. This can be used for anointing candles, spaces, yourself and anything you want to protect. Let's look at the recipe

✧ Sunflower Oil

You can basically use any carrier oil. I use sunflower oil because it's inexpensive and carries sun properties of healing and happiness

✧ Pink Himalayan Salt

Salt has great protection properties and pink salt is great for enhancing spellwork and it's powers. A little boost for everything else in the oil

Sub: any salt you associate with protection (normal salt works too)

✧ Rosemary

A great catchall but I infused the intention of protection into this rosemary for the oil

Sub: Any herb you associate with protection. Sage and juniper are others

✧ Lavender

It smells nice...and also! It's good for inducing a sense of calm protection. When protected with this oil, I want to feel calm and safe

Sub: Any herb associated with calming. Like chamomile! (Tea bags anyone?)

How do I put it together?

☾ Gather your herbs. To start the intention train, make sure you know why you're grabbing each ingredient. Think about it. This begins infusing your ingredients with intention

☾ Place the ingredients into a mortar and pestle, thinking about the intention of each. This can include a keyword (protection, calm) and also thinking about the feeling (how does it feel to be protected and safe?)

☾ Grind the ingredients up into powder while thinking of intention. You can infuse while grinding clockwise to bring protection

☾ Add a bit of powder to little glass jars or whatever container you would like to use for your anointing oils

☾ Fill the rest with oil. Leave air room to shake it up

☾ Enjoy! (Shake before every use! The powder will sink to the bottom)

Classical Angel Magic Starterpack

If you're a magick practitioner or witch with an interest in angels, this post is a sign and push in the right direction.

Living with Intention - Hermes Edition

Welcome to a new series I'm starting: "Living with Intention" where I compile lists of mundane tasks that you can infuse with intention for different deities or divine purposes. As a follower of Hermes, I'm going to start with him!

Are you about to order a drink from a cafe or Starbucks?

Let's order something with strawberries. How about that strawberry and cream frappe? A wonderful spiritual offering for the fleet-footed deity and a sweet treat for you.

Choosing accessories to wear for the day or maybe an outfit?

How about we choose something with the colours that you associate with Hermes. For me it's orange and red.

Need to remind yourself or someone else about something?

Make sure that message gets delivered! You wouldn't want to let that message go undelivered right? Be on your feet and do what you can to get this reminder across clearly and appropriately.

Along the same line, feeling a bit down?

Write a letter to yourself about what you enjoy everyday and about yourself. Letters are a great way to let our your feelings and Hermes can guide your writing.

Having a day out?

Embrace the wind and FLY. Fast, trickster Hermes is racing you, you better put up competition! Feel the wind against your face and smile. If moving isn't something you can do, feel the wind from a window. Hermes is laughing in the wind and racing it.

See a phase in another language in a piece of media you're watching or reading?

Do some research behind the phase. What language does it come from? What does it mean? Why do people say this?

Need to make a decision?

Roll some dice or flip a coin. Life's a gamble.

Wanna have some fun with dice and a coin anyway?
