Love you, KT. 💖❤️💙💛

Check out the latest patch from R2-KT.
After his recent emergency open-heart surgery and ongoing recovery (and the news that he is to be inducted as the first recipient of the The Peter Mayhew Philanthropy Award) Albin Johnson unveils the latest patch from R2-KT, featuring KT and Echo from The Bad Batch, helping both R2-KT and the Walking Wounded Detachment. Over to Albin. To celebrate the work of my amazing wife (a nurse) and all the medical staff who put me back together, I'd like to unveil the second of Leeanne Massey's designs from this year. This one really speaks to the journey many of us have made in our physical struggles. And so, we dedicate this design to the Walking Wounded Detachment as well. Presenting Fan Club patch #20 in the series: Caring Knows No Factions. This features the clone trooper known as Echo, who was injured and converted to a cyborg before rejoining his mates and using his cybernetic enhancements for good. To me, Echo embodies the struggles a lot of us have with physical, mental, emotional and other trauma. We work every day to overcome it and be better people. And that is the mission of the Walking Wounded Detachment. I love that KT and Echo connect via their metal extensions, but the feeling is no less powerful than if they were both living organisms. Beautiful. A real lesson on how important it is we connect with others. R2-KT celebrates R2-KT day.
Friday 9th August was the 19th R2-KT day, and this year - as always - it was very special indeed. Not only did LEGO reveal their QT-KT version of R2-KT in the new LEGO Star Wars Creative Play Droid Builder Set 75392 just a few days before, but ThePinkForce Foundation also unveiled their own tribute, a limited edition legal tender stamp featuring Katie and R2-KT in LEGO form. The 25 denotes the number of R2-KT Ambassadroids around the world. [amazon box="130296027X"]

It's that time again, R2-KT's man servant Albin Johnson brings news of a new patch release bringing together KT, the Frog Lady from The Mandalorian and her beloved spawn. Here's all the details from Albin. Hello Carbon Units! It's been two years since the last R2-KT Fan Club patch, so we are kicking off new ones this year to add to the series! The first is this beautiful piece by Leeanne Massey, who regaled us with the Pit Droid and Loth Cat patches (and they now come as stickers). Presenting Fan Club patch #19 in the series: Every Child is a Miracle. This features the Frog Lady from the Mandalorian series, thrilling in the birth of one of her eggs. KT is witness to the miracle of life and she never stops being amazed at the beauty of a child. Leeanne captured a beautiful moment, and one that rings true to KT's Mission: to spread awareness of childhood illnesses and help those kids who are having it the toughest.
