My ranking of every Raidraptor
Decisions impacted by design, anime appearances, and whether it’s a good card. Yes I am biased, you should know that.
Brief explanations below
S Tier
Satellite Cannon Falcon easily has the coolest Raidraptor moment in the show. The sheer aura of flying up into space and obliterating your opponent. Also, the counting off fires for its ability was also very cool.
Rise Falcon is not a very good card (because they nerfed its anime effect) but it is a classic. Shun’s ace and its first appearance is the duel against the LDS trio is so sick. I also love the summoning chant and the noise it makes.
Rising Rebellion Falcon is so cool from design alone. It looks absolutely massive and if I was facing that I would be terrified.
Ultimate Falcon is also very awesome. A shame it got taken down and Shun lost the duel it first appeared in.
Arsenal Falcon I love for all the other Raidraptors taking off from it in its card art. That’s so fun to me and I like using its multiple attack ability.
Revolution Falcon is another key Raidraptor from the anime. It did not deserve the beating it took at Dennis’ hands. Also, its summoning chant in the dub is so so good.
By extension, Revolution Falcon - Air Raid is in the same tier
A Tier
Vanishing Lanius is a Raidraptor staple in the anime. Very good bird that can bring you another bird.
Avenge Vulture is this high because there’s a part in the anime where Shun takes a little damage from it to summon Pain Lanius. And the representation of the damage is to have Avenge Vulture peck him on the head which I think is really cute.
Fuzzy Lanius I love you. Thank you for letting me summon you just by having another Raidraptor on my field.
Napalm Dragonius with its burn damage. Small but mighty. Also a manga Raidraptor!
We love Wise Strix in this house! I think its design is so standout among the other Raidraptors.
Strangle Lanius gets points for name alone. Thank you for letting me special summon you.

Blade Burner Falcon is another cool as hell name. I also couldn’t put Shun’s manga ace low on the list
Raider’s Knight and Raider’s Wing have synergy with Phantom Knights and Yuto’s cards which I love. The blue flames present in both of them are super cool.
Blaze Falcon is a little weak, but I can bap you directly in the face with it. Also very cool in the anime.
Brave Strix with one of the most goated effects. Boosting the birdies’ attack. Thank you for your service.
Stranger Falcon has a very interesting design with its striking yellow. Good effect upon destruction.
Sharp Lanius and Tribute Lanius are both solid Level 4’s. Both their designs and names are cool.
Final Fortress Falcon is awesome. It is chonky which fits the name. Also anime appearance!
B Tier
Fiend Eagle got nerfed ;-; I still love you but you are my least favorite of the Xyz monsters
Bloom Vulture and Noir Lanius are both fun because they reference Shun’s last name, Kurosaki.
Heel Eagle and Skull Eagle are here because they’re used to summon Fiend Eagle rip. Points to Skull Eagle for boosting attack though.
Booster Strix is not a standout but is a good bird, a reliable bird.

Rudder Strix is another good, average bird
C Tier
Pain Lanius hurts you so no thank you
Singing Lanius, Necro Vulture, and Mimicry Lanius just are not ones I think about a lot
D Tier
Wild Vulture I am sorry but I do not think you’re a good card :( this deck does not need a level 6
