what do you think of Berdly deltarune?

saw this notification and knew I had to answer it immediately

burghley is shamefully one of my favorite deltarune characters (fluctuates between him and ralsei) and I love his little feathers to pieces. I wish endless suffering upon birdly because it’s really funny. boredly is my son. I want nerdly to face torment in any way possible

you can see I care deeply about a jackass of a pixelated nerd berd in a video game that I’ve rage-quitted multiple times because I suck ass at bullet hell

anyway yes I like him. you can probably tell I ship kerdly from this because I hate everyone and find the concept endlessly amusing. yes… krispy chicken my beloved

So i think i should give context for the comic

First off, some details.

Arthur didnt really know about the shutdown until right before it happened.

Vee version 2 was an intended replacement.

Yes half the reason i made that was for Arthur to quote the Glass Menagerie.

Anyways. why isn't vee unpacking her room? in short, her image of self worth isn't giving her the motivation to. It feels "wrong" to do so despite being allowed to. She's left standing in an empty room wondering if maybe one day arthyr and delilah will return and refurbish the place, then all her joy of unpacking her room again will be for nothing. In the end they could still have plans for her. It doesn't feel worth it, she doesnt feel worth the trouble. Its what keeps her from unpacking it.

I thought about this comic after playing a good bit of Chapter 4 of deltarune mainly because of some parallels i spot between vee and ralsei as i showed in this post

Arthur is not intended to be overall seen as evil in this comic nor any other piece of art i make. Arthur and Vee do not have a good relationship in my fanon, and that affects how vee interacts and remembers him. in fact, ill leave it up to interpretation whether vee was exaggerating his words in any comics i make of them where its a memory.

• They go by literally any pronouns, but lean a bit more towards they/them or it/it's

• They feel like glass

• Nickname for them is 'Obsidian'

• It really fucking likes rice krispies

• Got adopted into Castle Town bc it agreed to not attack anyone after Kris fought it ALONE. (it is now somewhat scared of Kris bc of their sheer AURA)

• It kinda enjoys Ralsei's presence! (Unlike Jevil.)

• It respects Susie for her strength.

• It damn well knows how to talk. It just doesn't wanna.

THE AU

• Roaring Knight is NOT Dess or anyone else as previously mentioned

• Roaring Knight knows the existence of a lot of people in the Light World, but for some reason, refuses to go there. KEYWORD AU

• Tenna personally knows the Knight (they don't like each other.)

• Obsidian, despite knowing the Light World and majority of the cast, if a little, doesn't know a lot about what they DO and why they do it, especially food. Kris had the bright idea to give it a rice krispy when it calmed down, that's how it began eating Lightner foods.
