I'm honestly quite sore, hurt and torn inside after discovering/learning about the dystopian world we live in.

Hmm what other happy things to write about? Oh, we attended an iftar gathering at my aunt's and the food was so so homely ❤️

I'm pleased to know the imam did well and got along very well with my father. May Allah bless this relationship between them and May Allah accept our deeds during this holy month and beyond. May Allah be pleased with us and may we find keredhaan Allah in everything we do insyaallah amin.

every ramadhan brings me unique opportunities and experiences that impact the way how i see things around me and how i enjoy life in this dunyah. the opportunity to ask forgiveness for all the wrongs i have committed and the hope to be forgiven is what makes me feel excited when ramadhan is fast approaching and makes sad when ramadhan is about to leave. but the lessons that every ramadhan is giving me is enough to convince that life is just a proof of borrowed time. it teaches me how to become the better version of me when i feel i am lost. it teaches me patience when i feel i'm at my worst. it teaches me how to appreciate little things when i feel i'm at my best. it teaches me courage when i feel i am down. it teaches me how to be thankful for everything i have. and it teaches how to love and care for those who do not have. and the list goes on, every single day. the idea of sharing your meal to someone you do not know is something that hits home to me. everytime i join an iftar in a masjid with people who are a total stranger to me makes my heart sob in pure joy. because it gives me the feeling that i belong to something. something that is even greater than what i have expected. it's not just the idea of belongingness but a strong-tight bond of unity and brotherhood where you get to learn their story, culture, and most of all create lasting memories. ramadhan is a month of humility and compassion. a month of forgiveness and thanksgiving. a month to reflect on the contents of our hearts to purify our souls and minds. more than that, ramadhan is a great time for a new beginning. with our hearts cleansed and our intentions renewed! alhamdulillah... -- jpa ❤️ // #justreflections . #ramadhanreflections #muslimhakawati #ipc #filipinomuslim #ofwkuwait #ramadhanstories #revertmuslim #ramadhan2019 #amwriting #instawriter #wordporn #ramadanwriting https://www.instagram.com/p/ByKj1fRBOB_/?igshid=q9ev9q1lpthe
