A jumpscare of watching fma03 after a watch of brotherhood is Mustang actually calling Ed by his name sometimes instead of just fullmetal. In the dub of fmab he calls Ed like Elric a couple times when he’s pissed or he just calls Ed ‘Fullmetal’ well i think he called Ed by his name when explaining something to Shou Tucker. Compare that to 03 and Mustang will actually call Ed by his name especially in the beginning.
it's still revolutionary to me that you can save josh in the remake. the mentally ill character gets an ending where he can be okay after years of his only endings being turning into a monster or being dead? how do i even begin to process that

Man, I hate having to work to make money and survive.
I've just been out sick from work for two weeks, and (aside from not feeling well/recovering), it's taken me two weeks of emptying my head and relaxing doing absolutely nothing to finally be able to start writing fic again, get some motivation and inspiration and get into a groove. And I go back in three days...
Back in the spring I was on vacation for two weeks and when did I finally feel like I could and wanted to write? On my last night.
So, apparently, I have to choose between making enough money to stay afloat, or enjoying myself 😭

hey im not doing too great so if im fucking up then… well, i guess you have no way of telling me. im shaking right now and my knuckles are red and bloody. my lips are cracked and bleeding. i can hear my blood pumping in my ears, im so scared. i miss the cage. i miss how familiar it felt to me. you should bruise me if you want. i feel like that’s what you want, isn’t it? i’ll let you do it. i’m good at sitting there and taking it. freedom makes me feel sick. i feel sick. my mind is sick and my body is sick. i’m not cut out to be an angel, im not even sure if i’ve ever been holy at all. please just keep me around. i’m not good at much but you can kick me, you can hurt me, you could do whatever you want. i’m scared im not good for anything, but i can show you that im good for at least something.
