Playing LaDS on an emulator has me constantly trying to use Sims 4 build cheats while decorating in the new Home system. The amount of times I reached for the alt key while trying to position something, or how I'm constantly trying to use 9-0 or the bracket keys when placing something has made me realize how much I play the sims. I even try to move the camera like I would in the Sims 3.
Its all become second nature to me now. I hope I stop soon because I'm starting to annoy myself 😣😆
I have a problem...
I loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer but one thing always bothered me and I was reminded of it as I read Brittana fic where Santana is the Slayer.
No one can know you're the Slayer because it would put them in danger because the vampires will target people closest to you.
Um...won't the vamps target them whether they know you're the Slayer or not?
Think about it ... If the people you care about know you're the Slayer, then they know the danger and can act accordingly.
BUT
If they don't know you're the Slayer, then they (obviously) don't know vampires are real and won't be on their guard.
WTF difference does it make to the VAMPIRES if your loved ones know?
Santana is the Slayer, Brittany doesn't know, but everyone knows Brittany is important to Santana.
Ergo ... They go after Brittany. It matters not at all that Brittany doesn't know that Santana is the Slayer.
And you're lying to everyone about where you're going and what you're doing so they're getting pissed at you.
Ugh.
It's probably the dumbest rule ever.
Desert Bloom Swimming Pool - first look
My conception from yesterday to build an artificial beach in the Oasis Springs on the Desert Bloom lot evolved slightly.
First of alI, I guess technically without mods you simply can't make this lot a beach. Second of all - terrain manipulation on the lot make it appear recolored in the world map view, and it triggers me.
I was struggling for a while to decide whether I want it to be vacation rental or swimming pool to finally end up with a SPA lot type.
I find this lot type very versatile in terms of how you can use it. I still think of this lot as a public swimming pool, but the SPA lot allows to spawn a mixologist NPC automatically to work at the bar. Let's be true, water park without a functioning bar is boring. Couple yoga mats, meditation stools and massage beds fix the lot requirements and it's a nice addition for those who want more variety of activities when visiting the community lots. I'm not sure if it will spawn kids/toddlers/teens to use the waterpark though. Gotta playtest it. Trying to make it look acceptable gave me sh*tloads of frustration. EA items for the water fun are such an utter ugly BS.
Random TS4 annoyance for today is why the hell can't the NPC employees for community items like bars get automatically spawned on ANY kind of community lot? It is so damn obvious functionality...
Trying to make that game playable with mods takes me more time than actual gameplay. Maybe that's why my main menu screen still looks like this. I'm not gonna update the game until I hear that main issues are fixed. Screw the new BG content, really, I'm old and patient.

After the first week living in Avengers Tower, Clint takes all Tony's favorite mugs and puts them on the highest shelf in the cabinet. The next morning, Tony opens the cabinet, blinks when the mugs aren't where he put them, then steps up seemingly into the air and grabs one from the new shelf. "Don't rearrange things people want when they aren't awake yet, it's rude," he mumbles as he goes to the coffee maker.
The second morning, Clint is watching Tony's feet instead of his face and sees the paper thin sheet slide out from between two drawers and retract as soon as he steps off of it. When he asks, Tony explains that it's the same motion controlled system he uses in his workshop and the Malibu house.
"I built this tower, and designed this space for common use, including mine? Did you think I would include storage space I couldn't get at just to look complete?"
Once Clint gets over the burn of not even having his prank noticed, he enjoys being able to easily reach the backs of the top cabinets.
Ugh, currently playing the “which reposited mesh did I accidentally delete” game
It’s for the uftoptshirt replacement I have. Changed to something new like a month ago and it was working fine...then I went through and fixed all my clothing defaults, cleared out old stuff, got new stuff. And now only half the recolors show up for cf because of a second mesh I’m guessing. I always get my defaults from sims2defaults, but apparently not this one cause I don’t see it there haha.
Fingers crossed.
