I was bored, so I did a thing. Here's a list of 49 Disney movies, put through a list randomizer. Assuming each movie is now placed in a new chronological order, what does this mean for this hypothetical slate of Disney movies? 1937's Robin Hood sounds like it would've been an interesting choice for an animated movie. And The Rescuers coming out in 1955 (replacing Lady and The Tramp) while The Rescuers Down Under comes out in 1992 (replacing Aladdin)... that's a 37 year age gap. Half the original cast would be dead. There's some really interesting stuff in here, and I think I may have created a decent thought experiment here.

Because I am unbearably bored, I’m compiling a list of movies that give off, or sync up with Ethel Cain songs. So far i have a good amount. Eleven in total of the ones i have seen.

I am… iffy, about some of them, but i think i put those that align less with Ethel in the list because of the aesthetic they give off?? I don’t know.

Either way! I am happy to see whether people agree with me and or, can give me recommendations. I need to watch more movies, last year i think i watched a total of fifty odd and most of those were rewatches…

Special interest

So, many autistics have a special interest which is a deep interest in particular topics. It can be anything, music, science, books and many other things. There is a stereotype about trains but I also feel like many TV series fall into the stereotype of choosing a specific animal as a special interest.

Here are few examples:

Sam Gardener (Atypical)-penguins Woo Young-woo (Extraordinary Attorney Woo)-whales Nicholas Moss (Everything's Gonna Be Okay)-bugs Addie Darrow (A Kind Of Spark)-sharks

I kinda get the feeling it's just the easiest subject to choose as a special interest and I know the last two were written by autistics but it's still feel too simple sometimes. Animals are a great subject but I know a lot of autistics and they may like weird and special animals but that's not their special interest.

List Of Random Quirks To Give Your Characters #6

1. They say bother instead of brother. It started as something they only did to their brother, but gradually became a force of habit. Most people just assume its an accent thing.

2. Their teeth chatter when they’re nervous.

3. They take their shirts off one handed.

4. They are bad about flicking water at people after washing their hands. Note: It’s most defiantly on purpose.

5. They start lots of things, but hardly ever finish them. Fun fact, this habit is the whole reasons I post prompts instead of stories.

6. This character keeps a journal, but not for themself. They make diaries for fictional characters they like. 

7. They have a habit of researching random medical conditions, for no real reason. They don’t even have any of the symptoms, how did they fall down this rabbit hole of webMD?

8. They often trace the lines on their palms.

9. They bite the skin off their lips.

10. They’re a sleep talker.

I feel like I complain a lot about female characters, but there are, in fact, some that I adore and need more like them: 

Nyla Harper, Lucy Chen, Zoe Anderson and Angela Lopez from The Rookie

Literally every female character on X Company - whether they are there for one episode or the whole series, I love all of them. Highlights though include Miri, Aurora, Krystina, Sabine, Siobhan and Heidi. 

Wonder Woman from the new movies

Black Canary in Young Justice

Juliet O’Hare and Marlow from Psych

Chloe Decker, Ella Lopez, and Linda Martin from Lucifer

I’m sure there are others out there, but I find it so hard to relate to like....90% of female characters as they’re written, I need a list to remind myself that yes, there some awesome female characters out there.
