Where the “chosen ones” are a young adult with his kid brother, who dont want the pressure of defeating the ruler on their shoulders, partially because they live in poverty and can barely carry their own lives? Especially the older brother who never includes his younger brother in his plans because he is super protective of him?
Also they are werewolves because they are the chosen ones and can barely hide their wolves features because they are literally the only ones with that “problem”- dont ask me how I came up with this premise I think it was a dream but idk:

I still haven’t figured everything out, but I thought it could be interesting: especially because Roman’s weren’t exactly the most “open to differences” so oppression and stuff would be pretty high. And the obv dictatorship. Although tbh I don’t know too much about Roman’s anymore (I knew more when I was a kid) so who knows if I’ll go through with it. I usually don’t mind research when it comes to interesting topics but I am still writing on my other book so it would be more of a time issue at the moment I guess but we’ll see🤷♀️
